His grin unchanging Trueno speaks on while Brisbane handles his newest "find"

" Well, si - make a picture, take it with you...i have the strong feeling that these will sell muy bueno everywhere ! in fact...just to let you know between amigos - i locked the first batch the artist can produce for quite a time...just for you...so you would be the only supplier for this new trend and hype...comprendre? A good way to get many pesetos into ones pocket!"

"I think you missed your calling Trueno, you're a born salesman. Had you lived in Liberty you'd probably have your own empire by now."

Brisbane chuckled as he withdrew his personal organiser and flipped it open with a flick of the wrist. He held it above the artefact as the camera motors hummed several times, a faint click and it was done. Edward nodded as he viewed the newly taken picture.

"Spot on, I'll send this off and we'll be-"

Brisbane's face fell as his eyes flittered back and forth He took a short ragged breath and sighed before sharply swiping his finger across the screen. He tapped the out a message savagely, snapped the organiser shut and slid it back into his jacket pocket.

"Sorry gentlemen, a bit of...Unfortunate news. Nothing to worry about, our dealings will remain uneffected."

"Please share the news amigo, if there is anything we can do to help si?"

"Thank you for your concern Ronaldo but there is nothing you can do. That message was from my accountant, BTE was in some financial difficulties which have been solved by a beneficiary. Mr Onyx.
Now that the funds have been transfered my company has been absorbed into the Onyx Syndicate. It is a positive move in all respects, our dealings will extend to the rest of the Syndicate with no change in our terms."

Brisbane tapped his thumbs together.

"It was not unexpected but still an unpleasent experience nonetheless. Pay it no mind amigos, my pride will heal in time."

He grinned though it did not extend to his eyes.

" Who might senor Onyx Be? Another transporter of specialised items like yourself?"

The servant walked in again with a large tray of Tapas and Pannes.

" First food amigo. Then business, primarily prices and how often you visit us or we visit you. If we can finish this tonight you could be on the next flight back to Hawaii."

"I'm not sure how to describe Mr Onyx, a money lender would be the most...Polite term. If you take my meaning."

Not wishing to discuss Mr Onyx further Brisbane shifted topic.

"As for prices, I'm thinking along the lines of three hundred credits a unit for the smaller items as they would be the mainstay of our profits. The larger specific items would be on request I'd imagine, say around a thousand per unit?"

He began ladeling penne onto his plate.

"I'd recommend a varied visitation, even the most dimwitted LPI officer will notice a pattern eventually. Depending on how quickly the merchandise sells I imagine we'd visit Crete weekly for resupply, deliverly of your orders will be immediate of course."

Though a mouthfull of penne, Edward questioned Ronaldo and Trueno.

"Hmm, this is excellent...Now what of your expectations gentlemen?"

" Muy Bueno, I was expecting this was going to be a hard negotiation but you seem to know how to conduct business quickly. Prices are acceptable, we won't have to wrestle about those. I assume our orders will have to be paid conform market standards si?"

Ronaldo took a bite of a small wrap he had just put on his plate. He took his time to chew and swallow it before continueing"

" Loansharks can be dangerous people amigo, I hope he's one of the decent types. If not, let us know and we'll set him straight si?

"Your orders are the tricky part, judging by the items Trueno asked for on board the Hawaii. For standard commodities I'd ask for the wholesale price plus ten percent, special orders like the Rheinland fighter armour and military power cores it would depend on the cost of aquiring them..."

Brisbane rubbed his chin as he did quick calculation in his head.

"...Again depending on the cost and rarity we'd be looking at a six to seven figure number. Our fee would be on top of that, no more than twenty percent but entirely negotiable."

Becoming nervous, Edward felt it best to be open with Ronaldo and Trueno about Onyx.

"Mr Onyx is slightly more than a loanshark amigo, he's a crime boss. His syndicate operates more than just smuggling, what else I cannot say for certain."

Trueno jovially pats Brisbanes back

"Ai, ai amigo, early morning and already juggling numbers amigo - you are a fast one! Of the books i would say we we can find a deal with those numbers- still, let`s do the details someplace we can nail the contract down on paper, oldschool so to say, si?"
after taking a breath he continues
"...now that..senor Onyx...i believe we will make good business with you, it will please your new "boss" so to say...and if times change or you feel need to cange, i am sure our connectioncan get sturdy enough to work things out in the end, bueno? "

"Thankfully I'm a morning person, during the evening I'll be lucky if I can work out two plus two."

He leaned back in his chair and drained the last of the coffee.

"As for Onyx, well we'll cross that bridge when we come to it and I'm certain this deal will solve the financial problems once and for all, hopefully we'll all be healthily in the black."

Brisbane rubbed his palms together with a grin.

"I'm ready to get this deal in writing when you gentlemen are."
