What do you guys think about Mars One? If you haven't heard, a private space organization is asking for volunteers to start a colony on Mars and will never be able to return. They'll get their water from ice in the soil and energy from solar panels.

Would you drop everything and voluntarily be banished to another planet?

Also, I plan on applying for Mars One. I don't care about not coming back, I would give anything to be one of the four selected. Pioneering space travel and colonization on another planet is a dream I have always had.
