The fierce patriotism of my parents molded me into who I am today, and years spent at the nearby space port, even as a child, pointed my dreams to the stars. The aggressive, yet beautiful lines of the ships of la Marine Royale beckon me. The very sight of an officer in uniform swells my heart with l'esprit-Gallia, the spirit of Gallia, my pride in our Kingdom. Of course, there are those who would try and say that the Crown is not right for us, that His Royal Majesty King Charles XI is a tyrant. Such individuals are a danger to we, the law-abiding and loyal citizens of the crown. To serve His Majesty and Gallia has always been a dream of mine... getting to snuff rebels is just an added bonus. Pour la Couronne et la Pay! ((I speak both French and English fluently.))

Quick background summary: I was named after my father, James Napoleon; he used to say that we came from an old warhero when the human race lived in the planet called "Earth", that lived during a terrible war and try to conquer the planet. i think its a good story but hard to believe.

During my puberty, i worked with my father fixing ships, he told me that joining the navy was the most honored thing to do, because a person joined to serve his goverment for a greater good. When my father retired from the Navy, for his years of service, he let him keep his old Gallic Cruiser, but it was very jammed, dusty and out of date.

When my fater die (may he rest in peace), i told him that i would anything to join the Gallic Royal Navy, so i used all the money saved from the fixing ships job, sell a lot of my personal belogins, to buy the components to put the ship operational. Some of my friends told me that with the money that i spent, it would be better to buy a new ship, a fighter or a bomber. I just prefer to honor my father by reparing his old cruiser and put it functional and at the service of the Gallic Royal Navy.

Motivation for joining his majesty's Gallic Royal Navy: Helping my goverment, all that is needed, escort, patrolling, do cargo runs, anything at all, to honor my father's name.

The building of a small fleet of capital ships allowed them to be trained on board of cruisers and battleships, gaining the respect and the confidence of the crew members.

They joined the GRN Academy, and worked hard for years.

Now, the fleet is nearly built, and the ships will be launched in the space to hunt pirates and bandits first. Then, after this "Baptême du Feu", the ships will earn their name.

I was a regular engineer fixing civilian escort ships that came into Marne, during council / brigand raids many vessels engines were crippled. Crews began to work overtime repairing them, the officers paid very little money for the work we did keeping the ships in space. I felt I could earn more respect and experience flying with the GRN rather than repairing plasma damage and dirty engines.
