A freelancer eh? You probably know the Colonials were 'displaced' - although I'd say a bit more harshly - by the Gauls too. Some experience, especially in the Taus, should save me having to train you quite so much. We'll see.

Biography: Onij was born at Falkland Base to a miner family, and as soon as he could, he was going mining niobium with his father outside the base. He joined Colonials soon after, when Outcasts of Malta killed his father, and been fighting and hauling niobium for them. But one time, when he was flying LuxLiner on a haul, using his dangerous shortcut trought the Hokkaido to New berlin, he was shot down and injured by local enemy faction Golden Chrysanthemums. After waking up from comma on planet Kyushu, he only remembered guarding some distant world, he called home, on his beloved Viper.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: I once was i proud member of CR and even become commander of IMG cruiser, but i lost all. Now i wander around the sirius trying to remember my past. I want to renew my fighter experience and im quite good and patient trader.

You don't need to be Crayter-born to be a Colonial, hell I know that from some of the pilots we've got around. You'll find Pecos a little colder than Borneo (unless you happened to live up in the north) but there are plenty of us around to get things done.

Name: Gareth Williams

Birthplace: Planet Leeds, Leeds System
Biography: Gareth was the oldest of two brothers born to John and Sylvia Williams, a miner an a secretary both working at the same small mine on the surface of Leeds. The oldest by a clear 12 years, Gareth acted more as a surrogate father to his little Brother Kian while his father worked night shifts.

They were inseparable and adored one another. However, Gareth saw joining the BAF as the only way out of following in his father's footsteps in equally as dangerous but more poorly paid mine work. While initially a slow learner, Gareth started soon after to excel and led an exemplary if unspectacular 14 year career for the BAF, flying a variety of craft.

However, when his brother Kian joined the BAF to follow his brother to, Gareth became worried with this development. The BAF was struggling and throwing in pilots who were patently not ready yet. Unfortunately Kian was one such pilot and was killed in an engagement with the KNF. Having reviewed the incident Gareth felt proper training could have saved his brother. In disgust he resigned his commission and took to working for various mercenary and escorting companies. However, work began to dry up Gareth poor unable to maintain his craft and with his skills getting rusty.

Relevant experience: Former BAF pilot, and general mercenary (mostly scouting and escort)

Your reason for applying to the Military: An experienced if rusty pilot, I feel my services can be of help to the Republic. It is also a place for a fresh start.

Name: Malechi (Mack) Yarrin Rune

Age: 49 (Born November 14th, 769 A.S.)

Birthplace: Lavidia Shipyard, 7th level Omicron 74

Biography: I was born a shipwrights son. Raised on Freeport 15 in my teen years was exciting as I watched all types of vessels travel in and out. At age 7 my mother became infected from an alien microbial infection which no one had a cure for at the time. They believe it was contracted from a tainted hull of a trader vessel that arrived from mining Amarus cloud in Omicron Theta. For several years my father found it difficult to raise me as well as my two brothers.

When we became of age, my older brother Zephram joined the military as a hand deck on a Aquilon class carrier. I on the other hand was partial to the maintenance of small freighter vessels. I became quite adept in the technical skills of turbines and often went on test flights. The first time I held the stick of a CVS I nearly wet myself.

Eventually I married had two beautiful girls and was content with my 'stationary' status. I raised my children well
until my then wife Matria left with my younger daughter Alexia as my older daughter Charon was able to fend for herself.

Alone after years of being in Omicron systems it was time to venture out. I contracted with a freelancer of a Borderworlds Transport as chief mechanic. He must have not been well liked. We were fired upon more than a third of the systems. And the smuggling, I can't remember how many times he dropped electronic contraband when we were approached by Liberty Police. I patched more holes in that ship than there are 20 credit hookers on Pittsburgh. What a dump!

But to make a long story short, I saved every cred that whisky runner paid, and he paid well. Feeling lost in space for so long, I began hoping to find a new home. 13 days ago, we had a load of H-fuel, picked up after a raiding party destroyed a Kusari cargo ship. Looked like an easy haul. Probably left overs the pirates couldn't carry or so we thought. We tractored over 400 units and cranked up the drive when the missile warning alerted.

Out of the field five outcast fighters and one gunboat swarmed us like bees'. My skipper tried to make a run for Freeport 6, I mean it was only 6 clicks out. We dropped 4 counter measures but there were 6 incoming torps. Not fair!
We couldn't get the primarys on line in time. They wound up and shut down, wound up shut down. Then we were slammed by a concussion. The skippers head went into a life sensors console, I can still hear the crack as the corner of the console went into his temple. Then the secondary reactor blew! Panels lit up red from one end to the other.
Four shipmates and myself suited up and jumped the airlocks foregoing the safety protocols and were shot out like a airdart followed by a glow of orange blast. Those creeps tractored what they could then started shooting what they couldn't. Including US!! Three of my buddies were killed then one of those brownstripes drifted 20 meters in front of me with the nose of his ship so close I felt like I could reach out and touch it. I saw his black teethed grin through the cock pit widen when suddenly three Nyxs' ripped him into shreds before he pulled the trigger. At the same time I was tractored, my saviour said "Need a lift?"

Biography: I was born on Planet Leeds and I was raised there. My father was a crewman at a space ship and my mother was taking care of me and doing what she could to earn some more money for the family. Later, I have lost my father when his ship was destroyed by Gallic ship. I was 16 when I joined the Bretonia Armed Forces and now, I wanted to fight. I was 21 when my father died to the Gallics and I wanted revenge.
Relevant Experience: I was trained in BAF like a fighter pilot, I also know my way around cruisers, though I never got to pilot one.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: I was in BAF, but they always told me they were short on ships and could not put me in any fighting position. I wanted to avenge my father... I quit BAF and payed IMG pilot to get me here to join CR| so I can finaly kick those bloody frogs back to Planet Paris!
