Lulz
Dead serious. I do not joke about what i have experianced, and what i have seen while driving. But i also do not feel sorry for fools who bring trouble down on themselves.
Ever consider how much patience the average truck driver pulling a 20-60000pound trailer in day to day traffic has over the average car driver thinking he can zip in and out of traffic to get somewhere 2 minutes faster has?
Or how much more driving exp someone doing 300-400000 KMs a year has over the average car driver?
And yet trucks have only 1 accident for every every 1000 car accidents on average.
And yet people wonder why i blow up sometimes here. Keeps me from losing it out there on highways. Disco=game=venting 0 hurt. Highway=real life=dead or injured people.
Lives aren't games, guy.
You are right. So why put it,and others at risk by being an arse, and cutting off a vehical 10times your weight, and size? Just because you want to get ahead, or home 2 minutes faster?
Not saying i look for cars to crush, but i will not risk myself for tools, when i know i am safer in the bigger, stronger, heavier vehicle.
Just last week in Toronto where i live some 18year old in a acura cut off a big rig. The truck swerved to avoid, went into a concrete pillar of an over pass, and was killed as the 60000 pounds of pipe he was hauling crushed his cab, and leaving his wife a widow, and 3 kids fatherless.
Now tell me who is the more evil?
Wait. Just wait.
Did the driver of the Acura cut off the semi driver KNOWING it would lead to his death? I highly doubt it.
It's called an accident. A tragic one to be sure, but an accident none the less.
People make mistakes. That's expected. Most of them don't brag about them on public forums, but to each his own I suppose.
Glad I'm not driving the same roads as you is all I can say.
Sorry look up accident.
An accident is something that cannot be avoided. That was something that with a little patience, or respect of other drivers could have been avoided.
Also the law also seen it as avoidable, and the kid was charged with vehicular manslaughter, and such.
Am I the only one reading this as "People often do dangerous things around my truck, and I will not risk my life to improve their chances should things go bad (as I'm not the one being stupid, and so should not suffer for it)." ?
change your medication or just stop using what your doing now
breathe in.......and out......in .....and out
and
relax
does it help
On the road as i have stated i am very calm, and relaxed. Which is why i vent here sometimes. No one is hurt venting here.
I have a video somewhere where a truck driver did lose it on the road, and took out like 50+ cars. I need to find it a post it just to show what a truck can do if something gets in its way, and it cannot stop.

You are right. I could be called selfish for thinking that way, but also is it not selfish for a car to cut infront of a truck just because he is more nimble?
Also how many drivers here do a 20-30 minute bumper to bumper inspection of all components of thier vehical each day?
This is required, and done by every truck driver every 24 hours in north america.(ok maybe a few cut corners, but that is stupid, and ilegal)

Meh, semantics. I'm quite certain that the guy did not intend to kill the truck driver.
Perhaps mistake is a better word, but there are mistakes with UNINTENTIONAL consequences.
That's neither here nor there, though. I just don't agree with joking about crushing 5 cars under my semi, and it certainly wouldn't be something I would brag about.
I'm sure the owners of those cars, regardless of the mistakes that were made, didn't think it was so funny.
Any car accident is serious business....I'm awestruck that a grown man thinks its something worth bragging about, and a semi-driver no less.
What humor? I have crushed 5 cars in last 3 years. All were the fault of other drivers thinking they could "squeze" between my truck, and another solid object. So sorry, but when hauling 56000pounds+ and a car gets in your way? You grip the wheel tighter, and hope there are no kids in the car. Fact of life. And in no way do i risk myself, my truck, or my cargo for an idiot in a car thinking he has more rights then rest of traffic. I know all the laws, and how to bend them in my favor.. Even the police take the side of the trucker 90% of the time knowing how hard, and skilled you need to be for a big rig licence, compared to how easy it is for the average yahoo to get a cars driver licence.
So as i said above. Be very careful who's truck you cut off, as myself, and most other truck drivers know the laws, and how to bend them in our favor. In 24 years of driving, i have only felt bad for 1 fool, and that was cause he went flying over my hood while jay walking, while having a diabetic attack.
FACT! An 18 wheeler fully loaded takes 300+ feet to stop from 100KPH compared to average car of under 150 feet. You do the math next time you jump infront of a truck, and slam on the brakes.

As the child of a truck driver who's dad worked in the business for around 30 years and who's been through every mainland state in the USA, I've heard some trucking stories and learned several fun facts about trucking...
I can attest to what Ryoken is saying. When you're driving a 60,000 pound vehicle
traveling at a speed of 60-70 miles per hour, and someone decides to do something stupid to put your truck in a collision path with them, as the trucker, you DO NOT try to swerve and miss them. When you try to swerve and miss them, you're most likely going to run into several more INNOCENT drivers, who have done nothing wrong, unlike the guy who has caused this, jackknife, and most likely kill them as well as yourself.
Your life and the lives of several other innocent drivers is NOT worth risking for the life of one idiot on the road who doesn't know any better. HE decided to make a stupid decision, HE has to live with the consequences, whatever it be. You don't trade one person's life for the lives of 15 others.

Did not intend to kill the driver. Maybe, but careless none the less. It would be the same as twirling a loaded gun, while walking down main street, and claiming it was an accident when it went off, and killed someone.
My point being the kid should be the one hurt/dead for being careless/stupid/selfish, and not the truck driver that if chose not toswerve may have smashed the car, or caused it to lose control hitting concrete pillar, and with its smaller size/weight/airbags probably that driver would have gotten off maybe with an injury, or 2.
As for the cars i crushed? All walked away, as i hit them in a way, as to force them off the road, and away from other traffic.I am not a total bastard. 2 of them actually admitted it was thier fault, and said they were sorry. Surprisingly they all said "they never saw the truck" which just blows my mind how you can miss a truck if you even looked, or how you could not even here it. But eh.

@Crack, nope, you're not.
Thank you. Someone who gets what i am saying.
Yes it might be considered evil/mean/cruel or whatever to say if you cut me off your screwed, and i will crush you like a bug, but consider what happens if I were to swerve, lose control, cross center median, and go into oncoming traffic?
I seen many years ago what happened to a full size cadilac that crossed median, and hit a truck head on. Both doing approx 80-100KPH. When i saw it i could not tell what kind of car it was, or even the colour do to the 100+ meters of wreckage on the highway.

Ya, xD.
Anyways, as I see him talking about my Rogue cruiser. For the record, I had to fight 5v1 with 300bots left when you joined. Thats why I PMed you. It was good fight, and please, you wouldn't hit me with Mortars. Missile spam? Also, dodge able. I tryed keeping everyhting fair or LNS when LNS was outnumbered. After that, that dispointed me. I also got mad that a LNS- VHF let to get a Pirate ID Havoc to pirate me or 10mill just to join the Navy to kill me. Plus, when they are winning against me, you join. Also, Bombers weren't ammoless, I scanned all they had plus 40+ bots, except that Havoc. And saying I QQed to you, made me more mad, because if you died, you would do the same thing.
