Afternoon, Baker. It's been a while but we were talking a while ago, if you remember. Well, I've thought about it and I hope you did as well.

As I already told you, I greatly miss the good old structured, daily routine I've had back before I got suspended. Sure, my current job does have its advantages. For one, I can do what I was doing in the Navy, just without the rules and the superiors biting your ear off for "inappropriate behavior". But despite that, I was born for this lifestyle and for serving Liberty the way I used to.

I'd like you to reconsider. I can't and won't promise you that I'll be some sort of care-free soldier, but I never was. You know I can do my job better than a lot of people under your command, without calling any names.

The Navy is a part of me as much as I'm a part of the Navy. So please, think about it while I'll be awaiting your mail.

Until then, cheers.

PRIORITY:----
TARGET ID: "Catherine Raven"

SENDER ID: ADMIRAL, Rachel A. Baker.

Ms. Raven, it's been some time since you sent this transmission, I do apologize for the delay, things are pretty hectic down on Manhattan right now...but I digress.

Despite a few minor incidents here and there, your military service record is largely on the level, though I won't just pick up my telecom and make the necessary calls to get you back in uniform, it isn't that simple, though I am not opposed to the idea of you reentering service.

I would like you to answer some questions first. I won't necessarily subject you to a formal debrief...but I would like to know what you've been doing since leaving the Navy. I'm not doubting you...but after so much time freelancing, well...loyalties can change, I hope you can understand my need to be sure.

That aside, I would also like for you to undergo a complete physical and psychological examination at Fort Bragg Naval Medical Center, on Los Angeles. Provided everything checks out, I should be able to make the necessary arrangements.

Do get back to me please, Catherine.

Admiral Rachel A. Baker, Out.

TRANSMISSION: End

Ah, I already thought my message just fell under your table, luckily I was wrong.

Regarding your question...there's not much to say. As soon as I packed my things I had to think about what to do for a living, so I signed a contract with the Bounty Hunters guild. Nothing's really changed - I still live on Manhatten, I still shoot the same baddies I've been shooting before, since I've been claiming for the Libertonian and Bretonian bounty boards. Still the same old deal, just without uniform or rules, which was, of course, tempting, but not the same still.

I understand your suspicion, but I assure you that there's nothing worth worrying about, as I haven't changed much.

I hope that covers your questions.

You know I'm impatient by nature. I've done my part of the deal, I think it's time for yours, Rachel.

I think it would be best for both sides if we got this over with as quickly as possible, no?
