So, I may be going to Dallas Texas for QuakeCon 2013, I was wondering if any of you disco'ites know of anything to do/places to eat in the Dallas area. Also, I may be going to Cloud Imperium Games for a tour. (Yes, Star Citizen).

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Also. This isn't flood.

Off the top of my head, can't say much about Dallas, but I live in one of its subu- I mean neighboring cities and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. Answers really depend on your tastes, if you like amusement parks then theres Six Flags, I know of a lot of good burger joints and you have to get atleast one thing from WhataBurger for your life to be complete. On a more survival note, if you stay in Dallas, stay far away from Stop Six, its a part of town you do not want to get lost in.

In and out burger, BBQ, all sorts of food.

You'll go home with an extra 15 pounds on you when you're done with Dallas.

BBQ is good anywhere in Texas, just don't ask for sauce. There's Lockhart Steakhouse or something in Dallas, and Lockhart or Austin has amazing BBQ as well.

There's this place in University Park called 'Snyder Plaza'
In this plaza you will find the Peggy Sue BBQ.

Trust me

Then, make your way to the Granada Theater on Lower Greenville and watch a live band. They're bound to have more things booked later, but as of now all they got is a Grateful Dead cover band Sat. the 3rd.

Ew. No.

I know that there's at least 4, if not more, Braums locations in the DalWorthington Metroplex Area. (C'mon, someone here ought to get THAT reference - and no, it's not Hank Hill.)

Anyway, I pretty much consider that place to be the best ice cream around. Yes, I think they're better than Sonic. The minor detail that they won't open any stores beyond a certain radius from where their dairy herds are located, so they can keep full tabs on their quality control, says a lot to me.

That, and the ice cream tastes wonderfully sinful, too.
