Terrorist ID

There is already a topic discussing this topic, I just wanted alittle hard data on how people feel. You can feel free to post your reasons here too if you wish.

I voted yes for all, I think they were all ment to be terrorists to begin with, but also I think they all would make good terrorist factions in terms of RP.

i voted no only to farmer alliance because i believe they are not that hostile to everything... unlike Gaians. In fact I was reluctant to LWB as well. After all, alliance is neutral with kusari government i beliueve? and they do have alliances - they are not the radical fascists xenos are.
While Gaians ecoterorists are like SCRA - they kill authority for a cause, and kill criminal because they dont consider themselves criminal or rather, they think they are doing the right thing... well, i think, at least.
LWB, well pretty much same for Gaians.
but i always have a hard time seeing... angry farmers... being terorists.

there are only Xenos, and 2 guys out there with real terrorist ID apparently.
And i dont think we coalition id people are really terorist as we cant attack civilian or trader ships.

I voted no for all, because i think the term 'terrorist' does not fit. they should have IDs that allow them to kill those they are opposed to, instead of pirating, but not a terrorist ID.

I think only the Gaians should have the Terrorist ID.

The other two factions all have a specific purpose that is due to a specific faction, while the Gaians are pursuing natural conservation as a whole. For instance, the LWB and the Farmers both have problems with synth foods. Gaians have issues with industrial growth and pollution, etc...

I voted yes to all, but hesitantly;

'terrorist' is sometimes used as a very loose term. Terrorist shouldn't mean 'kill everyone', that's more along the lines of psychopath (such as Mon'Star). Terrorists in the world have specific agendas and targets, and are only prone to killing people in order to fulfill their purpose. For instance, Al-Queda wishes to destroy the corrupt state of the USA; they funnel their resources into A) killing citizens of the US and B) discrediting the US by making them appear responsible (if indirectly) for acts of terror.

I agree that none of the mentioned factions should be killing everyone on sight, only those they have a problem with/were formed to destroy. In the case of FA and LWB, they should definitely destroy all Synth Foods vessels if at all possible with no mention of piracy. However, neither group really has any reason to attack Daumann/Samura, as they support internal companies, somewhat like Xenos in a way. They are not open-ended PvP invitations, they are factions at war with other factions for ideological reasons who might resort to piracy for funding reasons (see descriptions in-game and here about the Bundschuh).

Perhaps we should make sure everyone is clear on what constitutes a 'terrorist' before voting in these polls...

Oh, and thanks for adding this, Zelot; it's nice to have as much feedback as possible when dealing with something this important.
