Hi all,

I have been working on this IMG battleship concept codenamed Zephyr MKII. It's still not complete and is taking a lot of time. But I wanted to share the idea with you guys on how it looks so far. Let me know what do you think.

IMG does not have battleship, nor they will have ability to use any in next mod.

Additionally, this ship's design does not match current Colonial ships. I think that current battleship Kronos will be replaced by old Zephyr.

Also, you've put the wrong logo. One you used matches Phoenix (a Zoner group) more than actual Colonials.

But most of all... where is the hangar bay?

From what I've seen thus far I personally prefer the current Zephyr. This thing has a Gundam feel to it, feels... out of place.

Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.

Mostly retired Discovery member. May still visit from time to time.

Looks too alien in regards to Freelancer in my opinion.
Too clean, somehow. With shapes uncommon to the normal Sirian.

I very much prefer the old Zephyr, which I'm really looking forward to.

I'd not say it's a bad model, because it isn't, just might lack a little detail, but as stated before me already, it seems out of place.

Stop being so hard headed and don't just stick to those limited set of ideas.

I don't think the Roc bomber looked Freelancerish when it was introduced

Gallic ships didn't look freelancerish when they were introduced.

But people are using them now

I am not saying all of this to back my model.

If you stick to those same set of ideas, Discovery Freelancer will not expand. New ideas should be encouraged. But that's just me

I am not so bothered whether my model looks freelancerish or not because there is nothing called Freelancerish, that's made up in your mind. I just try to make ships that look cool. But that's just me

Torvette... while i understand what you say, i must add that freelancer discovery follows a lore... and that lore has to be respected... however i understand what you say about "flatheaded" players... and yes... Disco is full of both flatheaded players and moderators... and that's why i don't play often anymore...

about your model i have to say that you must try not to make it so "flat" and try to add some poly... be very tricky about small details because those are that counts...

however... i say this for YOU to develop into a better modeller... cause i see low chance of someone that is not stick to the admin's sockets to get a ship of his authory ingame... sad... but true...

you know what? im just goint to take this away before someone feels aluded... XDDDDDD

looks IMG less and councial and colonical more my suggestion is to regraphic it's colours and some parts and make like IMG
