And why do I have to "migrate" my account now?
And why do I need two new names (handle, monicker)? What is this crap?!
Now that I "migrated", I can't use the forums and the chat. I somehow dislike their new website already...
Also, do you have to pay for everything before the game is even released? I don't get it.
I opened a site account with them right away when first going live, but never used the site much since because it's too slow and jerky to use, think it's because of the heavy graphics loading on pages. I've tended to just watch the video releases instead posted on YouTube of the game.
Oh! And were the hell is the LiveSteam Link. That site is a nightmare to navigate and find things.
I don't understand fully how it's all going to work myself in the end, but there definitely a strong drive to get people parting with money all the time. I hope it isn't going to be like EVE, where you have to pay a subscription to play the game online, won't be interested if that's the case.
The Drake Caterpillar looks awesome too, but I still don't know why it is so Expensive. 180€ for the Ship and a Lifetime Insurance. The Drake Cutlass costs 80€, if it would include the Game I would've bought that.
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"

Yeah. I didn't get much sleep last night either due to going out. Between the livestream and going out for a few days with friends I'm fairly wiped out.
But, wanted to say that if you wanted to score a Cutlass with game access lemme know. I'm an original backer and can get you one for 88€. I have no idea why only original backers can get a Cutlass with the alpha/beta/game after the site migration. Weird.
I asked Chris about the pricetag on the Caterpillar off camera and how that ties in with the attributes that we can't easily see on the simple stats that he's provided and his response was that the ship is an utter tank in addition to being robust enough in size to contain the crew and personnel for the docking operation. It's hard to take that from numbers and a piece of concept art, but that it'll be a monster of a boarding ship.
Dusty the Backers are divided in 3 tiers:
ORIGINAL (pre 26th November)
VETERAN (pre-launch of new website end of the month)
BACKER (after the launch of the new website/24 hour stream)
First the idea was to give only bonus stuff to the original backers, then RSI decided to include the veterans in the gift packages as well.
Backers have more goodies then the one backed later- repair robot, more credits, suit and other stuff, also as bonus we get access closed for the other backers packages- it is not bug it is designed to be like that.
As Original backer I got this bonuses:
1:Your RSI space suit reward
RSI Class II Space Suit with Test Pilot Colors
2:Hangar Fees Reward
Free Hangar Fees on starting Planet
3:Original and Veteran Backers Reward
2,000 Game Credits
AMX-1 Repair Bot
Record Breaker Skin
Squadron 42 Mission Disk
