The way i see it, 74 should still be a Guard system. And a Zoner "Leader" if you like to prevent stuff like this happening. Zoners dont have a leader per say, but possibly someone to ask whether the path the individual zoner takes is correct or not? I don't really know. Though measures should be implemented so factions cant spam Core 4 bases in a system which in turn bugs the rest of the Zoner population. The way i see it anyway and funnily enough, this war is just gaining steam.

At the end of the day, it boils down to: ZonerZonerZonerZoner!

it is up to the admins to have the final word at how a faction should behave, and they found the behavior and the roleplay of the Phoenix valid, declared it as such the moment they approved their request for officialdom. The Admins accepted Phoenix as the Official Zoner Faction, thus allowing them to represent the Zoner NPCs as well, including the inhabitants of Omicron-74 who are not played out by players. If the ZA wages war with the Phoenix, they wage war with the very people they so much claim to be the defenders of.

You don't like how they act? Challenge them in their officialdom, and let's see what will be the words of the Admins on it. Challenge them instead of blatantly blaming them for many things the ZA are also pretty much fault at. Empty words lead nowhere.

And yes, If phoenix were using its own ID I wouldn't give a damn, but they represent the zoner faction at the moment, so I do give a damn, what they do affects my characters, all of them has nothing to do with ZA so if indies had the power to put them on trial for the stuff that they have broken I would have done so long time ago, Instead im wasting my time of trying to telling both parties to quit this shi* and they just carry on, I'm picking on the phoenix because they ARE official, and ZA are not, they have more responsibilites while they carry the zoner flag.

Welll you are quite right with it and you've found the point. ZA as unofficial haven't got any right to claim ownage of a system, furthermore locking down this system spontaniosly, should piss a lot of guys. What really reached the melting point is the countless amount of altchars ZA uses and engagement without notifications to reach their unsufficient and unreachable ?goals?. I just say that is a lot noobish!!!

What I find most amusing about the situation, is that the ZA as an unofficial faction is pretty much giving the middle finger to the official ones, by claiming ownership of one of their systems. So we all know that the ''official'' title is split between multiple zoner factions, as far as I can tell, so they sort of forfetted the right to have a single guard system in the first place.

The only way I can see this fixed is by having the zoner officials file a report to the admin team, demanding them stepping into the discussion and just lay out how things work in admin green. However, the question here is, will the officials resort to crying to their admin father, when their little brother ZA took one of their toys? It would just seem weak and further show that the officials currently lack the ingame and oorp strength to deal with a new group muscling in on their territory.

The admins are not biased, they will follow the evidence, they will see the same oorp from the begining, a forum bullying, in-game bullying, and an official faction breaking the rules it supposed to follow, I hardly believe that.
Phoenix is grounded on the notion that they are clean 100%, while they are not. The only thing that should be done is to force all the parties to quit this none-sense, without damaging anyone, everybody is a winner, but the natrual anti-za fruits will be against it, because thats how the community goes. I wonder how would they feel if it was the other way around, and giving the fact that most of the ZA info is twisted, mostly in-game.

It would be funny if the ZA now started to make ingame ties to freelancer, bounty hunter and mercenary groups to defend their little safe heaven. More bases, more pew pew and turn 74 into a fortress. Basically, anyone who is not friendly, cannot go there. At all. Would be damn awesome to see what the reaction to that would be.
