Please tell me how people these days use it to insult someone's sexuality. No one uses it in that context. It's not a swear word, that's why i'm confused.

When you use that word as an insult in the first place, you vilify the group of people it refers to. That's because in order to be insulting, it implies there to be something negative about that group - just as if I were to use race, sex or socioeconomic status. By using that word to insult somebody, you denigrate the associated group.

Even if you weren't using it as an insult against someone but in the proper sense of the word, it is derogatory because of its connotations and considered offensive to the vulnerable group. Do you know how many words we've had to go through for 'learning disability' because people kept turning them into insults?

TL;DR: Don't use it in any sense because reasons above, lazy.

Edit: This actually applies pretty well to Draconyx's post, which I also wanted to reply to. Firstly, people don't use these words literally, and even if they did, they're offensive because of the connotations and common usage.

But after all I still can't get why it's necessary to censor words in the internet (it's commonly known that the insults in internet are empty and nothing to care about really) while you can receive the same insults at street or at market or at wherever place in RL if some people had a bad day. Blocking swears is a waste of time from my pov since we're small community and have much more important things to do.

Also people are getting sanctions for swears anywhay be it f-bomb as it is or **** - then what is the big difference between **** and actual swearing? Will I be sanctioned for swearing if **** is what I actually typed, not some censored swear?

EXACTLY. You know why "retard" is an insult? BECUZ IT'S NEGATIVE!!! There's (almost) nothing positive about the condition of being retarded, hence the negativity, hence the insult. You can't turn a descriptive vibration of air particles into something positive if the very thing it is describing is perceived as negative.

Hence if being gay is a positive thing, then NOBODY should feel bothered by the f-word. If you're gay but feel bothered by the word fhag (no matter the context), then it just shows that you're uncomfortable with your own sexuality.

Same thing with the n-word. there's nothing inherently wrong with the n-word, it was initially a word created like any other word- a descriptive term that associated an ethnic group with their relative skin color. However it was offensive only because people using the word were racist asshoes. Certain black people use the n-word on each other, and the scholars are all freaked out by why the hell would they use a "perjorative term" on themselves- but they don't get that it's NOT a perjorative term if not in a perjorative context, hence why white people can't use the n-word because 99% of the time they use it their inner soul is wearing a pointy white ghost costume.

You can't just go censor/euphemise every term and phrase just because somebody used it in a negative context, It's not the word that needs to be changed or censored cause that doesnt do jack-there's never been an instance where a racist has been "oh the n-word's been banned so I'm gonna correct my racist ways and be a nice all tolerant world citizen"

it's the PEOPLE spaking it that need to be changed. Changing people's perceptions is the only way to remove the negativity, period.

ps. also I'm tired of this "female dog" bullshizzle, either use the word BlTCH or don't, "female dog" just sounds silly.
