This topic (ideally pinned when it's complete) is intended to house links to and policies regarding the acquisition of non-civilian technology, to save you time and searching.
Faction leaders that aren't represented, or are incorrectly represented, are requested to post here or PM me with corrections. A blank line is shorthand for "I don't know." There's a few too many blank lines right now, and I'd greatly appreciate some help filling them in.
These are sorted the same way as the tech compatibility table's columns are.
The Order: Regulations Database. Full information within. Requests must be in seperate threads for archival purposes. You're not getting a cruiser, carrier, or battleship. Rarely given to non-allies.
Outcasts: You'd think I'd know this one.
Reapers of Sirius: Not happening.
Phantoms: No.
Red Hessians:
Unioners: No official faction currently.
Xenos:
Council:
Gallic Lawful: Approval appears to be available; exact procedure unknown.
Bounty Hunters Guild:
GMG:
IMG: Licensing Database. Small craft, transports, and fighter weaponry are sold on the open market; no request and no additional payment necessary.
Zoners: Whale: No. Aquilon: Permission is requested here.. Everything else: Free to a good (or good enough) home.
" the Armaments and Munitions Licensing Office (AMLO) will no longer grant licenses to allow the usage of Bretonian proprietary technology to agents not operating for the State.
No request will be accepted from this point forward. Should Her Majesty's Government decide to grant a license, it will contact all relevant parties of its own initiative. "
User was banned for: Griefing others
Time left: (Permanent)
For the Rogues it should rather say:
"Do sell their weaponry, to scam credits from their victims since their tech does malfunction with foreign ships." (Explanation)
BretLaw, Mollys, Rogues updated. Omitted personal opinions on the lack of effectiveness of Rogue lasers on non-Rogue IDs, regardless of their entirely factual nature.
Order: Each request has to be put separately on comm channel, so it can be archivized for later role-play and reference. What you linked is general guideline which does specify that too. Requests inside that thread wont be processed. No capital ship will be sold, exception Hathor gunboat.
Thanks for the correction there. I was only doing a cursory scan when I first posted this, on account of severe laziness and it being after midnight at the time.
