I guess the thing I never appreciated before playing a nomad was that they dont have any bases, how do you guys resupply, do you fly all the way back to the shrine after every fight?

Indies don't have to worry about it too much, as they are always a few systems away from Omicron Iota.
The K'Hara that leaves them? Well stopping by 117 or Chester is one way, but either killing NPC's to get the b/b is the main way.
Its not too much of a problem though, as K'Hara players start at a nomad base, and return before they log off. They don't float around in space too much, its just a bit more work I suppose.
Yeah Im talking about indie nomads as Ive never been in the Kahara. Killing npcs doesnt work, as nomad ID has unusable tractor beam, and I cant go to several of the bases, as I cant leave the omicrons. But say Im omicron theta, i have to fly all the way back to iota after a fight?

or suicide, yeah. also I still find it stupid how nomad id can't tractor at all, since it's pretty pointless to demand nomad things off people now - doesn't help how you cant take nanos/bats. (although you could shoot it)

Welcome to the world of Nomads. We've had to fly all the way from system to system with no stops if we ever wanted to rebase, let alone go somewhere far away.
They can't tractor - that means they have to suicide/go back all the way up there ~ They can't buy Liquid cardi ( haven't seen one nomad RP with it.. a shame ) ~ They can't use Cruiser~Battleships ( Which is a shame because anyone who used a duk knows it blows ~ so theres no reason why they should restrict it ). The rise of nomads in the omicrons should also mean more brain ships.
