I speak as the heir of the Santiago Familia when sending this communique. I have went through Contari records as well as the mainframe for our operations...and in our engagements it seems we are always lacking the required firepower and ships, mainly larger class vessels. The reasons of course, are understandable, Contari's name isn't held in high regards in certain groups.
However, Luke, as you know my family has certain ties and influence with the Maltese Navy, we bring in a large portion of resources from our contacts in the Houses, which is also why we have access to any surplus vessels the Navy has.
I'll be honest amico, my father did not like me working under the Contari familia but he trusts me and I see that the Lance is capable of great things, I also hold dear our own friendship Luke, there aren't many in the Nation that I call a friend, but you are one of the few. So I have persuaded my father to turn a blind eye to the family honor and assist us, the Lance. If you so require, I can have numerous military-class vessels shipped to Contari hangars, including Tridentes and Stortas, there are many in Naval Surplus stock as well as unused ships in the reserve fleets, of course they would probably have to be paid for. I simply bring the influence for their numbers to be opened to us.
While I agree that the Lance does not have large numbers of Capital-Class ships, we have survived and thrived well without their use. Most combat situations have been carried out effectively with minimal support from the big guns apart from when such events as raids on Malta have occured. Though all of these attempts have been efficiently halted.
However, after speaking with my associate, Rina...we have decided that this would be of benefit for both our presence in Sirius and for training the Lance to use a wider variety of equipment when they prove their value to us.
Your Famiglia's offer is accepted and with great appreciation. This act will not be forgotten, signore. I had no idea your famiglia had such presence within the Outcast Navy ranks, you always failed to tell me such details. Matters not, I can tell you'll be of value to our cause, on top of the assistance you have already given to us in the past.

I do not talk much about it, but that is because I used to be an officer with the Navy, but let's just say some events made me think of my career path twice; I resigned and took up the family business as my father has retired and is patiently waiting for his time to come. But yes the Santiago name is known in the Navy's support lines, their materials don't just pop out of nowhere.
It is good to see that you have accepted, I'll have orders given out immediately and make a few calls myself, I'll coordinate with you personally -unless there is some other name on your mind- on where the ships should be sent to, all I need is a list and then I'll connect you to the Naval surplus mainframe in order to pay for the required ships and equipment.
