As joey said to me in the past, they "drain all creativity". I agree with him at this point....supplying a base is tedious and involves very little interaction.
I'll just wait for the fixed hege, as we only ever created bases to store our own ore anyways. It was an easy way to make money....it gets blown up, just build another....never upgrading beyond a shield at most.

Perhaps you should try it. Creating something can be really fulfilling and is generally a better feeling than destroying something.
All the recent stuff has been designed to promote brainless grinding and capwhoring. Here you got what devs wanted so much and now they are not really sure if it's what they wanted to see in the first place. If you promote grinds and ganks don't be surprised to see grinds and ganks, it's logical result after all.

All game mechanics have exploits. So, if somebody pores their entire effort into making a mod and then some people arse around with these exploits which is illegitimate to do so, it's alright is it? Again, sticking ungrateful fingers up.

Alpha, what you're doing is noble, but in the end its just a waste of time. They know what they're doing, the grief their causing, and that was their goal all along. A good chunk of their members earned themselves a permaban a while back, yet they know the work around. Admins ban them, their back within 24 hours. New names, same old song and dance. They don't give a flying rat's ass about the community, and this isn't some "Just want to watch it all burn" crap they want you to believe. Its a pack of children with a grudge over one thing or another. Oh, and in case one of them decides to say "I'm not a child, I'm an adult!" I call bull. An adult doesn't act this way. You could be pushing 40, and still be considered a child by the way you act.
The best thing to do is ignore them, its all we can do at this point. Protect your bases the best you can, grab a beer, and wait for them to get bored. They laugh at sanctions, shrug off bans, and come back to cause even more problems.
