I can see the pros and cons in a wipe. For the short term at least, there will be a flurry of trading, mining, piracy, and police activity, everywhere.

On the other hand, players will be driven away because of the hundreds/thousands of hours of work they've put into their ships, characters and bases will be gone.

Also, you'll get the random lolwut 'lolol I created Admiral.Hale so you no can haz the name'.

I would lose my beloved Nomad Power Cell. OTOH, that damned molly base would be gone.

So I'm... conflicted.

well..the only reason that makes people loving a Wipe is...the Challenge part. To see who will be the quickest person to make first 10 bils...or first 1 million.
