The very idea of wipe involves making server very active again. Right now everyone has.. well, enough money for their needs. But in case of wipe they'll have to mine/trade/etc, pirates'll appear and old scheme will work again.

that's funny. All the things I've heard from people is that they wont play/bother with their time just to re-earn money.
I don't like wasting my time on earning money either.
not to mention you'd probably be destroying RP (for a time), SRP'd stuff would be gone, and PoB's have to be removed.
(I don't mind that last part)

I'm half and half of the idea of a wipe.
Good idea for activity, bad idea for time etc.

Or several people....as in hundreds of veterans who make disco tick, would simply say it isn't worth it to them and never enter the server again.

A good thing? Perhaps. A bad thing? Almost certainly.

As much as I'd like a wipe, it would literally kill the server I think....half of us are only here because of our friends and what we already have....most wouldn't bother.

Oh, come on, wipes occur everywhere. I might be wrong, but wipes occured at earlier versions of Disco too, around 83, for example. Plus right now earning for battleship isn't that hard. Not sure why're you all so tied to caps. |-)
