You forgot to add the fact that the Colonials regain their Zephyr.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
I pray the old Zepher makes a return in 4.87, its a ship I miss.
I would also like to see some new super collony mover ships that are say slim but say 4x longer than any barge.... Segments can be delinked but you can add to them too...
I do however feel some of the ships are getting stale so their needs to be a shakeup, something more competative (this does not mean more guns, maybe less actually).
Could their be a new way to move from system to system other than conventional Jump Gates, Jump Holes (and I'm not taking jump drives here). Maybe is these superships or barges can fly out of any system ie they are 100k from any planet or station then can launch a super cruise star drive which takes them to the next system in say 10 mins (say 3000kms) however the added hazard of ion or dark matter storms could attack ship systems (or maybe a new unknown rarely beatable interstellar space dwelling force...as was in the original Elite a game that was the fore-father to our dream game?).
Is it true that Bretonia is getting a light carrier?
If so, does anyone have any links to 3D pictures or just... pictures?

Dear god, will those ornaments at the front of the ship really be there? No, it's not like they don't look nice, they just look quite odd in that form on a spaceship. Like the other ones on the sides of the quick-launch tubes are pretty fine, but the one on the front looks like some sort of an ornamented fence to prevent observers "falling off".
EDIT: Of course in all other aspect it is a neat vessel.
