Once a player loses interest in this mod, they either leave it for good, or they try to form it to their taste, which is only possible with drastic misbehaviour.
Can one do something about it? No. Should we care about said small group of veterans? Maybe. Does it have any influence on our lives? No. Is it fun to play a game with people who like to see it burn? No. Do they care? No. Can one do something about... that doom loop?
As for that PoB - I blame conspiracy and human failure.

This is actually not true and is a baseless accusation. However, the more I'm thinking about it now, the better the death of the current main server seems to be, as it would inevitably be replaced by another server frequented by the most amount of players.
I never bothered to care about the bad things about this server. I just dealt with it and didn't even think of being able to change it. Still doesn't seem like it's possible, but if letting the current server die to achieve changes to a less restrictive environment, I'll take it.

Duv had never fully supported us. It was the other way around, when Duvelske got sanctioned for allegedly cheating. Deleting his station on the grounds of pure speculation, if anything, is only going to convince him more that we have our priorities straight, and we aren't just a group of overly bored sadists.
Think of it as you wish, though, everyone is after all entitled to their own opinion. That doesn't mean it will hurt if you ponder about what might play in the background, what a person's reason to an action is. Every effect has a cause.

Where do you even base half of these accusations on? None of us cheats or hacks, only two of us have ever circumvented bans in the history of "Doj and Co's" existence, and bending and breaking rules only happens to the same extend every other player does it, however, in those cases I don't see you complain at this degree.
Furthermore, it's in every player's own hands to decide whether they want to get a bad game experience or not. It's purely dependant on attitude and tolerance; which seems nonexistant for most players, hence the massive amount of complaining and "bad gaming experience" that happens.

I really wonder if you maybe started to believe your own lies by now...just as I wonder whether you really believe what you are saying, or whether it's all just another step on your path of wrecking the server for whatever reason you seem fit. Mostly out of enjoyment, it seems, not sure what's to enjoy about spending your every day on that, but heh...How you spend your time isn't really my business, only if it affects me in anyway, which it does, if I want to play here anymore.
Anyway,...no point in arguing with you people at all, tbh. As I said, either you REALLY believe what you are saying, which it almost worringly, but I guess that'd not be the first time that someone creates a world for himself where he's right even though he's clearly wrong, or it's just part of your way of trolling us until we finally pull the plug and leave.
Which makes me ask ... what are you going to do when "everyone's" gone, when the server's finally in the statet that you wanted? You can't be believing, that it's helpfull to annoy the people who work on the mod and who run the server so much, that they get burned out and decide that it's not worth, can you? How do you expect whatever "community" or such you aim for to function?
But again, I point to what I said earlier...maybe fanatic believe...probably trolling. Would neither be the first time I see such.
I remember back in the day when people used to play the game, and the forums were made of win. Ship trading. Role playing. And sanctions. Sadly I forgot that forum account.
Heh - I have found some players to be terrible at rp, and the bass hunters didn't find my base as far as I know - it only got bothered by the BPA. That said though - why argue, THIS IS A GAME
Imho Disco (Main server) needs to die and then be born anew from the ashes with completely new fundemental ideas on what is a community, how much saying anyone has in its operation and, most importantly, what is and what is not acceptable roleplay the POINT of roleplay

After reading this, I facepalmed real hard. If that would actually succeed and Discovery becomes like you described it above, then the quality of the server would be at an all time bottom.
Stop trying to ruin the server with your attitude. If it goes completely against what you want to play, then simply leave or start your own server. Don't try to change this server to the worst.
If you can't leave for whatever reason, then simply deal with it.
