I understand the canon yes when he see that amount of money he would gladly delete it for any reason he can find.
The less money is on the server the longer weel will be spining and more mining and actions would be in server wich is good for game play but bad for people who mined so much for that money.
Imagine if we all have all what we whant there whont be so much mining anymore everything would be slow very nice from Canon for trying to refresh the things but it would only have oposite efect cause to many people are revolted by this *must be* kind of decisions.
So watch your money people dont show it to anyone cause you never know when someone could say *he must be cheating let's delete it*

Lets be honest though Duv, you are a "Discovery Problem Child"™, most of the things that you do are dodgy in some respect or another. So far we only see other DPCs trying to defend you, and nobody else really. Doesn't really do wonders for your credibility does it?

Barge jumping for something around 25 bils is a lolz excuse. I know for a fact you had and have a lot more money than was just on that base. So how about you justify it to us (without giving us the barge explanation, since your barge is bastilled) how you made that money? Because, well... sliding around the rules might not get you sanctioned straight away, but disco rules do have a anti loophole loophole called rule 1.2 for when everybody just knows that all this stuff is extremely dodgy and something simply needs to be done.

I'd love to be enlightened about how FPXXI contributes to the RP of the region, enhances gameplay, and most of all makes money through and for legitimate ends and RP, to offset all the negative stuff that is hovering around it. Because as of right now people simply don't trust you to sit on a base that none of the known trolls dare touch, and that has 15 bils in its bank seemingly out of nowhere.

It whasn't my base...

But simply... if you have all the stuff and money you whant to have in game than you dont have needs anymore for mining and trading.
Nobody would go in to the mining field just to RP as a miner or to be pirated and than get horny because pirate *coughted him*...
Apearence of the Player bases and other toys in the server restored a litle mining and trading activity but that was just for the short period of time curent bases needs only resuplying now.
In short time it was made good knows how many jump drives survey modules and cloacks.
I guess quite enough to satisfy the needs of comunity.
And not to mention the capital armours cause server is runing for more than 5 years now the person who is playing for that time or even longer could mine so much money to cover all his needs with the equipment he wish to have.
Some of them leave but they leave theyr stufs to someone else or simply sell it if they dont have need for it anymore and than someone else have it.
it was long time ago since i didn't saw number of people in the same time on the server wich prevents you loging on it., wich means number of players decay and most of the equipment made stays.
Ocasionaly new fellas join but that's insignificant, still for the last few years i can't see large enough number of people on the server in the late evenings to fill up the slots and block you from loging on your characters.

So why dont admins simply delete all bases or make a a restart so every player would have to starts from scratch.
Many people would leave than i bet but those who stays and the new ones would mine and trade like crazy.

barge jumps where of the JUNKERS. i guess you should bastille those. and well as you might know some moderator too with messing with some neutral id? or want you to say to me im wrong? Bastille some ship which the buyers at that point where not aware of. Even a fellow ADMIN knew of it and told it was NOT a problem as it was an OUTCAST barge. (pm me if you don't know about it and i sent you proof and maybe even more..)

Instead of thinking how strange it may be or look. If you are with few people playing for a long time and mine a lot you can easy earn a lot. A tip make some miner account with different miners and haul with at least 2 or more people. fill eachother up and go on to the next drop point and move from there. Log you miner in that field and just do exactly the same. make sure you have a nice circle and always some cargo in your holds even if it only generates like 5 mill with plain commodities

Also to add. how can i start as a new player and earn a lot of money? easy. first you beg to a rank90 till finally you get someone to pay you like 100 mills. buy a rhino and go helium farming bring it to cbl and work your way up from that. O wait angels are now also assisting me with my easy way to earn money. dammit! Also if you where just digging around with my accounts you might have noticed some ships with like 800 playing hours maybe? not one but several. (yeah i had to much time and well did spent too much on disco to avoid some RL issues as someone who has cancer. wrong but hey thats why i took recently a break)

also to earn money i did explain a lot of times.. I guess some admins should be more active on the forums instead of just jumping into conclusions.

and blodo, only thing you guys now do is to show me and the rest of the community how you guys act. I would say go for the end of Disco. Instead of saving it, you are just destroying it now and people who where serious are now tempted to go several ways for example:
- Stay at disco and start to troll (what most will do and are tempted off see the bastilled ships which a lot are there for no reason)
- stay at disco and just ignore it all (and leave when you are fed up with it)
- leave disco straight away

With decisions like these and these 'fair' judgements also sanctioning someone falsely and covering it up so a mod will not be touched. and claim I am a BAD guy? *LAUGHS* *points to some biased admins and starts to laugh* Persephone.. hmm also something which phoenix just got why? because the ONCE loaned it with 0 background reason to justify its existance.. YES FOLKS there exist 2 these days! And you know why? because the admins where fed up with the QQ about it. (no i do not need friends with a biased community) At least i worked my ASS off for getting one for TAZ, still not accepted.. hmm.

Barge jumping does not get people into bastille. It's an abuse of balance, sure, but that's for the mod developers to sort out and not the admins. Hence why the Junkers don't get sanctioned. Meanwhile your method so far (other than a mining thing which it's easy to predict how much money that brings, it brings a LOT less than back in the old days) seems to be this:

Admins are quite forgiving you see, we know that a lot of people in this community committed some indiscretion or another during their lifetimes here. Are all those people banned? Not really. But you do seem very fond of dragging the whole community into this. So how about think for a moment: did anybody else's base get deleted by Cannon? What were the reasons for it? Then look at yourself and your ways of playing this game.

EDIT: On a final note: if you are not having fun playing this game, then go ahead and leave. Seriously. I mean jesus christ for all the proclamations of "the death of disco", how come none of you leave but instead continue being bitter and trying to force your bitterness onto everybody else? Is it to prove to us that you think there is a problem? Point taken, there is a problem because you create one. What's our solution to it? Well it's certainly not to give in to demands, that's for sure. If you think you can run the server better, then start one yourself. If people move to your server, I'll be the first one to tip my hat and congratulate you on doing a better job than we do. Until then, take your apocalyptic proclamations back to Skype.

And on a final, final note, when confronted you really don't seem to know what to say at all. I guess it's down to Cannon to decide whether he's going to restore your base or not. Feel free to try and convince him. You've not convinced me.
