I repeat this again.....all this base placement worry/hassle/Q_Q could be solved by making a rule that POBs (and defense platforms) must be placed no less than 3-5k away from any jump hole, jump gate, and NPC base. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Upkeep and invulnerability issues aside, this solution takes care of what I would say is 90% of folks' problem with POBs.

Like Puerta del Diablo in Cambridge, it's near the jump hole but it can only kill you if you stay still. I think that's the perfect way to place a POB.

The one who leads an official factions dedicated to something which it doesn't do, unless ofcourse you use the random pvp raids and encounters as an excuse. Infact from what I saw you were happy to suck the life out of these zoners instead of engaging the nommies - just shows how you tear that faction apart. You see, with or without "strings" the za did not shoot any zoners at all until you came along, so from my reckoning without the skype rp we would have seen your faction rep-haxed. In the old days, zoners stood up for zoners, no matter who they are - now its stooding up via skype buddies, but i told you alexandria will go puff, and i told you that you are not immune - and doing what your doing right now serves my purpose, as an indie zoners and as a ZA myself. Thank god for golanski. And just for the record, shooting za at the time was "fine" - shooting za now isn't fine, shooting OSI isn't fine, shooting others except nomads isn't fine.

You want to shoot zoners? Be a nomad, but while you have an ORDER ID, you do not stop ANY zoner whale, you do not demand ANY cargo from them unless its nommie, and you SHOOT NOMADS. If that isn't clear enough, I just dont know what does.

Ask Corsairs as to what happened to real Zoner Alliance. You will find wonderful information as to how OSI and Omicroners went into coldwar and Alliance itself was teared apart because Zoners did not stood up to defend their own folks.

Haters gonna hate. You complain because you are on the receiving end, because your virtual empire had not calculated risk of having your pixels broken through perfectly valid role-play and ingame repercussions. There are no good guys in this universe - Order while wants to kill off Nomads, have its own agenda - so does everyone else, including ZA. This is not the first time when Zoners are killed for not acting like a Zoners.

I will ask a totally neutral question, don't mind me, please.

Have someone ever thought that, if the nomads are killed/wiped out ( emphasize on "IF" ) , what will be the next Order objective?

Will it disappear? Retreat to some caves? I doubt.

Order is not only about killing nomads and it will never be.

Also, zoners never actually stood up for other zoners. Every zoner organization is like "Every man for himself "

Obsidian Zoetic is a good example. They got themselves into hard trouble with the Order and the Core and no other zoner bothered to help them ( especially because it is OZ who threw fecal matter at an activated fan which turned around at alarming speeds )

I personally, never witnessed a time where zoners actually stood up for each other. But I'm not so old as well, so if there was, please tell me.

There might be some chances that I would be the person hunting unicorns here and I'd like to stop that from happening

You already mentioned why nobody wanted to help OZ. it's simple because they weren't interested in stopping this. Actually, we wanted to help them by diplomatic talks, aka mediators between groups. But, in general picture you are right, there is not much love between Zoner groups, at least history shows. When ZTC and then Omicroners had a drama - TAZ nor OSI wasn't interested in helping them. There been a "coldwar" between ZTC and OSI due a backstory, that's why.

As for late conflicts ongoing in 49. My guys had a simple orders - is somebody attacks OSI, we protecting them.

So it's really depends on the conflict, how it was developed and why it happened. Usually Zoners helping each other by diplomatic matters, due obvious reasons. Zoner groups indeed separate to each other, but not extraneous.
