Placing the now-empty glass on the half-finished bar table, turning her gaze to him slowly. This man was.. irritating to say the least, someone who didn't know how to give up.
"Consequences are part of every action that one can do, of course. A gap? I'm afraid I find that a little doubtful. I'll go off what you have just told me about the.. 'inner circle' of the Commonwealth."
Holding up a single finger. "Number one. Trust. If we can't trust each other, then we're all condemned. Hate to break it to you, but I don't trust you. I don't trust Robert. I don't trust Achillie, I don't even trust the Kenji person I saw once in space outside. Already, this place is the wrong place for myself. I believe I have already made it clear that I will not talking, nor do I intend to.. 'open up' or whatever you want me to do. Like I said before. It is time for my leave, and I have prepared for it."
Shaking her head slightly. His persistence.. Such a hassle.
"I do not belong. I have not since the beginning. Always an odd one out. Its time for me to get out of your hair, save you your breath from continuing to try things like.. 'this'" waving a hand slightly.
Sean was irritated by the sheer incredible perseverance provided by Susan. Nevertheless, he didn't want to give up. Something about Susan made him curious. He grabbed her arm with his left hand and looked her straight in the eye.
"You are very wrong. You do belong here. You belong to us. Right here. This is the place you can finally rest from this...hounding or whatever this is. You think you're the odd one? Take a look around. The only person who considers you as outcast are you."
His clutch loosened and his voice became quieter now, but he was still glancing at her.
She shows no response to this, looking closely he could slowly see a cold, hard mask covering her emotions. One that seems like it would have taken many years to perfect. Someone without any apparent feelings, only what was underneath.
Pulling her arm quickly away from him. "I am too far away. I cannot do two things at once, even one or two systems closer would do. I am an outcast to myself, sure, but honestly. I am sure somewhere everyone else thinks the same. One persons words cannot be stronger than another. In this case, you are not enough. You keep trying. That is a little surprising, but I don't see what you can accomplish. Why waste the effort? I am 'not' worth it. I can promise you that."
Turning her gaze back to the bar table surface. "Not worth it.. Pay attention to someone who deserves it, not just someone you met because she joined the Commonwealth."
Turning back over to Robert again, curious if he had fully heard him speak the first time. Giving a puzzled face up to Robert, he speaks, cautiously at first but more confident as he continues.
"I was just in the process of formally getting this man's name. Since he is right here, you might as well hear it from him."
Turning again back to his guest, retaining some of his confused look on his face.
The Dragon hardly made an effort to stop himself from raising his eyebrows, displaying an uncertain emotion at the alias of 'Doctor Devious'. Could be a man with an actual plan or just some wacky sciencist, he thought to himself.
"My name is Oshiro, Teraku. Or rather, if I'm to follow the customs of the locals, Teraku Oshiro. The honor is mine." He replied in his ever-serene tone, eagerly to listen the Doctor's proposal.
"You think that I-...no, it's not like that. I just wanted to help you."
His voice fell silent and one could notice how his mood changed. He lowered his arm and he stepped back.
"But it seems you're not considering me as friend, although I tried everything I could."
Sean's voice carried a hint of frustration. He stared at her for several minutes, not saying anything. From his face expression one could clearly tell that he was deeply disappointed.
"Hmmph. Don't look like that, I'll be around now and then. But the Commonwealth is in the past now. I have already given up my ID, all I am doing is merely stating that you will not be seeing me around very often. Alright? I am not a friend."
Cringing slightly on the insides. She was such a big liar. But she's gone too far, she won't be telling anyone that now.
"What? You really just want to bunk out like that? Why did you join in the first place then?"
Sean shook his head in disbelief. How could she be so emotionless?
"You really don't give a damn about the people around you, do you?"
He felt the air uprising in him and could barely hold back his frustration.
"I don't even know why I'm still trying to convince you. If you want to leave, just leave! But don't you dare come back!"
He pointed towards the dome exit for a few seconds. Then he turned away from her.
Watching him vent passively, after all. What else could she do? It hurt. She wouldn't breath a word of it, but the words hurt a little. Hardening her gaze once more, she nods her head slowly.
"Very well. You will not see me again. Good bye Sean.." Slowly standing up without saying another word, and slowly moving across the room.
Moving over to Robert, she stands and watches him talk.
" Would you be so kind as to introduce me to your newest ami, s'il vous plait? "
"I was just in the process of formally getting this man's name. Since he is right here, you might as well hear it from him."
Slowly approaching him, she quietly asks. "Robert, do you have a moment? I do not wish to interrupt though.." Eyeing the newcomer carefully.
DD tries his hardest to focus on his guest, and not Robert or this woman who has now come up to Robert.
"Glad to meet you Mr. Oshero. I've got just a few questions, mostly about the nature of the Blood Dragons, at least partially for my own information. I think I understand them to be revolutionaries, but other than that, I am not certain."
He stops to look around the room, to see if anyone else plans on coming to stand nearby,
"You know, stuff like that and, well, how you guys keep organized with each other."
He grabs his datapad and moves it closer to himself, flipping it face down.
