I've always been of the opinion that NPCs or bases shouldn't fill the role of players in a multiplayer game like this one where the idea is that players fill the roles of each faction. Remove Cap ship NPCs, any others that can actually impact PvP and base guns (especially those built around PoBs for when those things are brought back).

NPC capships should be kept. No matter what, it will be totally oorp to remove them.

also imagine what chaos will we face if they get removed from, Omicrons. random sair/ OC player capships in front of Alpha and gamma
Also NY really needs those cap patrols. currently RNC rapes whole fleet of LNS. in front of manhattan and Good thing is....Rogue cruisers, gunboats/Bombers + all unlawfull groups will stick on together to pew the hell out of LNS.

off topic:
Liberty lanes should be like Gallic ones. Self Disruption against hostile units. Ofc..Bomber patrols should be back with Snac's into LN NPC's

NY already has enough cap spawns. I managed to get three dread patrols around Manhattan once. It's just that when RNC raids with 13 capitals, NPC caps really don't do anything.

I think they are annoying, yes, but in general fine.

If they weren't there I'd be pirating in Manhattan orbit 24/7.

I'm guessing you are choosing some rather dangerous locations for an unlawful to pick a fight. Capital planet, military acedemy's, military shipyards....
