We are not constrained by what happens in the real world, or in a hypothetical real Sirius. This is a game.
Also this race idea, does it have its own thread? If not it should.
Just a few more questions to steep the minds of disco, prehaps we can get a few more good responses with these....
How can we bring more focus to the war between the Bretonians and the Kusari's? Lots of RP fun to be had here.
What corporations would invest time and money into Bretonian interest? What corporations are going to compete for controlling interest in its trade?
Smugglers? Where you at? We need crime families and syndicates! Give the police something more to do than fight the mollies and scan traders all day long. (Long live the Sullivans by the way, :cool:)

Im looking for ROLEPLAY attention here folks. There have been a lot of GOOD responses. Im just looking for even more. Perhaps Im being greedy, but I think think that the primary goal is a very healthy one for all discovery players. And let me be clear, this does not have to be focused in JUST bretonia. Kusari AND Rheinland could use a boost too! There are a lot of different things to do out there, RP events, new factions, old factions, house wars, corporate wars, unlawful wars....the list is endless. Just please, for the love of all that is disco GET OUT OF NEW YORK AND STRETCH YOUR LEGS A LITTLE!:D

I disagree, there is HUGE RP potential to the race in Dublin. I really liked the idea of a "Day of rest" for a war that has been going on for some time. As I mentioned earlier, this can be discussed even further as the time of the event is set.
Dopamino, I respect your opinion, but the event will take place in Dublin on the RP server. A ceasefire or something of the sort is what I had in mind, despite the fact that it would be difficult in reality.
But if the ceasefire does happen, then it will be a race for the sake of a race. UoG are invited to particiate and show their colours.
This will be discussed at a later date.

What I was talking about would allow shooting, and probably a fight could start right after the pistol sounded. Regardless, this is way off topic, I'll start another thread for all interested.
Also...its not like said war is horribly hot right now, and if the leprechauns would just stop trying to bomb the capital, they would probably get on rather nicely with the general populous.
