I guess some people around here got CCNA or even CCNP certification and they pretty much know more about IPv6.

SO yeah, basicaly cisco gave my voucher way to much late i've used it now it's saying that i'm not authorized to use it and i don't have the money to pay for my certification which it's based on the IPv4 so all i'm left it's to gather more money and give my exam on IPv6.

So, what's the difference between IPv6 and IPv4, i guess they work on the same principal (almost, i've heard there's no more broadcast ips)

Also the new CCNA will be based on IPv6 and i need to require the curriculum.

IPv4 uses 32 bits split into four 8-bit bytes written in decimal for addresses, whereas IPv6 uses 128 bits split into eight 16-bit words written in hexidecimal for addresses. Packet routing is simpler and multicasting is a base feature in the IPv6 specification (in contrast to it being an optional but frequently-implemented feature in IPv4).

Retired, permanently.

Don't forget the range of adresses is huge with IPv6 whereas the IPv4 adresses are pretty much all used up.
Remembering IP adresses will be pain now though.

You are probably also trying to host a FL server and join it, aren't you?
You will have to either refresh until the proper IP comes up or you can go into regedit and physically disable IPv6.

Just research it online or download pirated ebooks.
