Don't mix Helium with Neon. Helium does not have another buypoint, as far as I know.

I have spent the whole day playing as well. Been dodging both pirates and lawfuls alike and it was hard. Are we playing on the same server?

Then you probably chose bad area and/or played in bad time. In the evenings (GMT time zone) there is usually at least some little trading activity in all houses. Maybe except Gallia.
But one of the basic rules of Disco - if you really want encounters with other players, go and find them yourself (you can utilise ingame player list to see where other players are). Don´t expect they will find you. It usually doesn´t work this way (maybe except Liberty).

I've been trading in the sigmas/omegas and kusari, even got up to tau.
Saw at least one person in most systems.
Talked with them too.
Got off the hook because zoner moving materials between corsair bases.
Gotta love RP consistency.
One of these days, there will be a clever, stylish and/or funny signature here.

And everything what Govedo said it right. There are too many capital ships, which are too easy to get. New players are focused on obtaining their battleships, rather getting on with mod and gaming.
I miss those times, when you had to trade for around 1-2 month to get 200M just for empty cruiser. And you were thinking, about rules and gaming, because, you rly didn't wanted to loose your new expensive toy.
P.S. Loging into game not even worth time spend there now srsly. Sry for rude words, but it is.
