How about regular RP in nomspeak with cloak? is that abuse too?
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
I think K'hara should RP with cloak on. Sometimes it's the only way to RP at all. And it's pretty scary to feel an alien in system knowing it could be right behind your back. Nomads are RP faction and should use all means to RP any time.
Infinite run in/out from combat is kinda dicky and I'm sure there's no faction that would do it. Ganking is the cancer of FL and we should heal the sickness, not just the pain.
Infinite cloak makes nomads pretty much unkillable.
Yesterday a K'hara attacked me after dropping one ***line*** in California. When he started getting his butt kicked, 4 pirates engage me too, K'Hara still gets his butt kicked although they're obviously helping him. Since they cant pass the nomad regens in clear sight he cloaks, and comes back with full regens shortly afterwards (he'd have to have a jumpdrive on his VHF to get to a nomad station and back that fast), to kill me together with his 4 pirate buddies.

I like how you look at things in the way you do, though i'll let you know this. We have tried many times to Roleplay, but it is almost guaranteed that we will be shot at. We 'WILL' be ganked. We will always be the ones who are shot at with little to no RP in the process.
We did not start ganking until after weeks, perhaps even a month of this kind of treatment, we have lost hope in that kind.
The only RP we get, is if we corner a single person, and scare him into not shoting, and it doesn't happen as often as you think. As for Roleplaying while cloaked, it is limited right now because of the understanding of how people will react. Though, if enough people agree that we should be able to do this, we will see about getting a few regulations fixed.
Trust us. We want to Roleplay, and we do get it now and then. Though the methods are a little unorthodox. Don't take this as in 'We will not shoot you' because thats incorrect. We will. But only within confines of what our lore dictates, we will feel as a threat. If you are no threat, expect to live. (Unless you insult said nomad.)
Tldr; We get ganked a lot of the time, we bring more forces to prevent this. This is seen as war. People go around screaming 'THIS MEANS WAR NO RP ANYMORE' and no RP is to be found. Though forcing the matter though cloaks? Depends on how people feel about it.
Edit: As for you Fyodor, I have heard and have spoken to the player about that. I am always watching. Story was slightly different, but then again, thats how all complaints go.

Awe are you beaten by words with nothing to shoot at?!
Thank god people can't RP over other systems! A sort of "Private Message" system or something? That would be terrible! No way to counter! At the mercy and pity unless the PMer decides to go into your system?!
....ok, but honestly, indy Nomads are very limited in their playing field as it is. Once they uncloak kill them. If they don't oh well, then you don't have to worry about them at all. If they're spamming local or system with trollish natured stuff then fine, report them. But if they are playing their role and being invisible Nomads buggering you, then get over it. Anyone can just as easily do that over PMs.
One thing I want to ask: Can their cloak's charge be deactivated by CDs like normal cloaks are supposed to be? So long as their charge can be deactivated by CDs then I have no problem with them.
nomad infinite cloacks are excelent idea , but have to be restricted to khara faction if possible. And in khara faction only most expirienced player to play.
In my encoutner with nomads i always RPed , and it is very interesting and unexpected . I would never shoot on Nomad who knows to RP.

Yes
Then all is good. Nomads are supposed to be scary.
This threads whole idea is "Why are Nomads scary now?! I scared please don't make them scary!"

Deal with it. If they're cloaked they can't kill you, if they uncloak you can keep them uncloaked with CD spam and kill them. Easy day.
