Ye, as if I needed even more reasons to avoid any sort of ideas of getting married in my twenties.

They had Bayblade running in the background, not the same thing I used to watch when I was younger, something made in the 2013 now. Couldn't help but listen in on it. Needless to say....

Remember that one southpark episode about chimpokoman?

Yeah, that sort of sounded like that.

Either I became an old, grumpy man all of a sudden or that sort of marketing-centric cartoons need to get kicked off the morning channels :|

I feel the same way.

My little cousins have some of those newer Beyblades, and their nothing more than a bunch of plastic crap now, unlike the old ones.

Heck, back in the day, we actually had fun with those even when we were 13-15ish. One of our friend's father had a metal milling shop and he'd actually attach effing blades to those things. Was epic.

I wake up in the morning on work days and watch the news. The friggin' news.

I get to watch the news again in 7 and a half hours.

But yeah, those old thick, heavy-ass metal beyblades were cool. Betcha those would literally tear a new one in half.

Retired, permanently.

Are we talking about bad cartoons for children or about getting older? Or is it the same thing maybe.
