It's quite a rare case where I've got nothing to add to this model looks - it's that good and perfectly fits Freelancer aesthetics. Clean looks, utilitarian, no silly decorations. Sturdy and solid.
Just make sure smoothing groups (vertex normals) are converted correctly into CMP/3db, Milkshape plugins are notorious for screwing that up completely.
Actually there is much better way than generating redundant and unnecessary geometry - exporting it from 3Ds max directly instead, vertex normals are then retained correctly. If you want I can do that for you, clean up the mesh and get it converted properly into FL.
