Lily looked the doors up and down, took a breath and walked in.

"Been a whole 3 weeks since I've had a drink. Time to try something new" She thought. She thrust her hands elegantly into the doors as they complied, giving way to the smell of Body Odour and a lack of remorse.

She noticed a couple of pairs of eyes stare her down..."What!" She shouted. "Yeah, Soup of the day please. Expect me to be a regular"

[Gamboge Reaver]

It was Zod's daily trip to the bar from his little booth. Even though it was only about twenty feet, Zod groaned and acted as if it was the hardest trip of his life. His legs dragged on the ground as his head wobbled back and forth with tired eyes staining to keep sight of the alcohol that awaited him.

The bartender rolled his eyes from seeing this display again as he served a woman at the bar.

Gamboge crawled onto the bar stool and tapped the bar with his meaty fist. It was his unofficial statement that he wanted beer. The bartender learned early on that Zod couldn't speak before his morning booze.

Looking beside him, he noticed the woman was acting like she was going to be a regular here. Shouting and boasting as if she might run the bar. Zod shook his head at the childish woman.

"Best keep yah noise down and stop being so cheery. The people who live in the bar don't like people like that around here."

Lily heard footsteps coming from behind her, getting louder. She didn't expect the tap on the bar that followed shortly after, however. She flinched and turned to face the mysterious man as he spoke.

"Oh you must'a heard me wrong, love. I'm not cheery, I'm just glad to be drinking again. That so 'ard to understand?" She promptly downed the rest of her drink and smirked *I still got it* She thought to herself, twirling the glass in her hand.

"'nother one, please" Staring the bartender down.

"Well..you gonna intoduce yourself or wha'? Christ, what happened to gentlemen."

"People stop drinking? I thought you had to drink to live.

As for my name, tell me what brings you here other than a drink and I'll'a tell yah you pretty faced little woman self."

He downed his drink then put a finger up for another.

"Please now, I trust you understand how this place works as well."

Lily gazed at the bloke as he spoke, she watched his finger go up and back down and the drink that was subequently passed to him. She then processed what he said.

"Pretty little faced, huh? Alright boy-o, I don't like your vocab but we'll roll with that for now." She downed the rest of her drink and dropped it onto the bar.

"I'm here to open new doors aaaand I ain't on about the bar doors I opened just then. I'll leave it at that. Now...again, what's your name?"

She paused.

"Ohh uhh, I trust that you can make assumptions though. O'course I know how this place works. Do I look that stupid to you?"

She pondered for a moment *Don't answer that*

He grinned.

"I'll call yah what I want, pretty face. Of course you have yet to give yah name so that's the name I gave you. Demanding while not providing. Rude if you ask me. Be glad I didn't call you Mini B***h."

He huddled on his drink as if it gave life. Clearly it was more important than the big mouth beside him.

"There's no open doors here. Only closed ones. This ain't the place for riddles as well. Break down the damn door in your way and speak. I know the look of someone who wants something."

She switched between staring into the man's eyes and the drink that he was clutching onto like it was special to him

"Only closed doors? So what, i'm trapped 'ere?" She said, with a tone that was sure to get her in trouble. She decided to back away from the terrible jokes.

"Alright slick, you're good. I'm not sure exactly how your brain's tickin' right now but you know how to make me talk."

Lily cleared her throat. The attempts at stopping smoking in the past weren't going well.

"Names Lily. Lily Escott. I'm a pilot...obviously. My hobbies are much like that of a money-hungry, bloodthirsty smoker with a drinking habit, i've been laid more times than you and now I want my skills to count." She smiled. Rather pleased with the spout of coherent wit she'd just pulled out.

"Anything else? Or are we taking it in turns?"

Air flowed out of his mouth as he sighed, slightly frosting up his mug.

"So you are just another drunkard pilot. Fine then, this'll just be a little drink for the night to keep things interesting before I go back to work. Fine then."

He finished his mug again and ordered another.

"If you are going to be drinking here, I'm known as General "Gamboge" Zod. You frak up in here and I throw you out. Part of the job."

Lily noticed the tone in his voice becoming agitated.

"Work, eh? Need a hand by any chance? I think you'll be impressed. Call it...a trial run"

She ordered another drink.

"Nice to finally have something to call you, by the way."

He smiled.

"Fly with me? If you do that, you're going to have to join us. At least see if you are good enough to not die instantly."
