Hello or... my most sincere greetings, if that fits better.

I have no habit on exchanging words with intelligence offices, so I'll better keep it as simple as possible. During our privateering run into the Tau 23 system and after passing as representatives of the Wilson's group -or so we thought, but one has to come up with an easy excuse to be ignored by the frogs anyway-, we happened to come across a certain vessel with outdated IFF transponders, but most important, carrying a big and shiny artifact of sorts with him.

[Attatchment]

Let's say that one way or another we ended up snatching the thing, and managed to pull out from the system successfully. After that, our Neural-Net midgets did some digging regarding this thing and could only draw a conclusion, whether it is alien or some top secret military project, it's got potential high value.

So, having set aside our thoughts of put the artifact up for auction in the black market -as we would never perform such morally evil endeavor-, we remembered about the favor that the dear Liasons Secretary did to us and thus deemed it appropriate to strike a deal with the guys who may have a grasp on this shiny but shady artifact.

We can make the best of our efforts to search and deliver more of these should you be interested, but at the same time we may humbly ask for funding that would allow us to continue our privateering operations.

Yours truly,
Aidan McGann

Good Evening.

It is not often i get messages across my desk. Good to see people out there fighting the good fight.

I don't know of whom you are, please enlighten me. This will go a long way to how i work with you.

As for the item you come to me with today, we will be needing that. If you give us this one for free, future ones which will advance research, will provide optimal funding, and the resource being me wiping your slate clean. I hope that peaks your interest.

We will send a Black Guard Colonel for pickup shortly.

Protector of Her Majesty the Queen, and her people in the Realm of Bretonia,

M
Head of Mission Intelligence 5 Operations,
Bretonian Intelligence Service.

Excuse me for my manners, was probably thinking that your people already digged out who we were, our personal backgrounds and even the exact hour we visit the toilet. We have been blessed with these 'letters' that you surely may have heard about, but formally this relationship could be encased 'between concerned Bretonian citizens', if you catch my point.

Anyway, the package was picked up by a colonel'ish asset of yours in Magellan, retrieved and brought back to Bretonia safely, I suppose.

I will however abide to the conditions he stated: If the artifact turns out to be what we suspect it is, supplying a first batch of funds to the TP~Crusader will be more than welcome to help us to keep tracking down more of these... items. Standard price seemed to be four millions in plenty of stores, so I'm sure the BIS can spare a bit more than that, aye?

Yours truly,
Aidan McGann

Trafalgan Privateers.

It has been some time, and much paperwork has crossed my work. It seems the item you brought to my attention is indeed as you claim, not the ordinary artefact. Bringing this to me is much appreciated. You will find on your account marked "Crusader" a sum of 10 million credits from a civilian signal, and all records of you are being wiped from Bretonian systems as we speak. You work for us now.

Keep bringing us these items, acquire a transport for them if you will, and hand them over when possible. This seems the best method of contact. We will find use for them, and future deliveries will amount a sum of 10 million credits each. I hope this tickles your fancy.

Keep me updated, and keep fighting the good fight lads,

Protector of Her Majesty the Queen, and her people in the Realm of Bretonia,

M
Head of Mission Intelligence 5 Operations,
Bretonian Intelligence Service.
