Nom trial is useless now that you have an actual recruitment thread.

EDIT: Just add the ''may leave the omicrons if under the surveillance of a K'Hara member'' to the regular nom ID.

Why not. Legions of random liberty indies were seen sometime ago in Iota/99 too. Occasional raid times are healthy for server activity. But there there is annoying lag issue. Oh well...

I think ID got redundant not because of recruitment thread but because of public nomad ID. May be gonna get rid of it with Omicrons update. But then what do about Shrine? Another system off to chopping block I guess, ironically happens to be also another one I designed (the other one to be deleted is Zeta).

No matter what you do, please don't get rid of the Kansas and shrine thing. Its one of the nicest additions to the mod. Instead, just make the indy nomad ID purchasble there and make the exit JH there lead to Iota instead of pennsylvania, finished.

Can't we just move the shrine/unknown system into the Omicrons?
I feel it's a system that actually has importance, as it's generally a nice place to visit for lore and it's feeling of mystery.

Dunno, keep the shrine. Another docking point away from home.
Add killer NPCs. Relocate the jumphole and allow large ships.

Allowing large ships will make LN lolraid Iota even more and potentially weird traderoute shortcuts.

Killer NPCs wouldn't fit the atmosphere in the shrine and kind of ruin the exploring feeling that is there now.

I would like to vote yes Sad

I ever wanted to do a nomad for a non nomad RP taking advantage of that infinite cloak. Never got a ship with a cloak nor money to do so, but my idea was to be perma-cloaked with the name of a station in a cluster system in a peak hour Rping as the base docking control or something similar. ^.^

But as many times happens toys are being used with a bad behaviour, not speaking of this case but a general think. So I suppose that this option will be wiped out soon.
