"New Leeds" Pool club

The New Leeds Pool Club or simply “The Club” as it’s known to it’s regular customers is the most popular watering hole for folks living on District 178. It’s the place where many a work weary soul heads to relax, to knock back a few drinks and have a good time.
While the Club is mainly frequented by the Orbitals and their kin, it's not unusual to see people from all walks of life within Bretonian society and even the occasional foreign visitor. Most of the time however it’s the working and middle class customers who are merely looking for a deep enough bottle to drown their sorrows.

There have been a few unlikely visits, due to rather large brawl that took place some weeks ago, by Officers from the BPA. The Authority started to land periodically on the District aiming to keep the peace and arrest those who disturb it. They’ve even caught a few smugglers who have had the misfortune to land during their visits.

The handful of officers who do frequent the Club are seldom idle, spending their time getting leads and tip offs from various sources. There are rumours abroad that some of these sources keep their freedom in exchange for a constant flow of reliable information. Perhaps it’s pure hearsay or perhaps its just another day at the New Leeds Pool Club.

Dean Karsten, one of the oldest barmans of the club receives a message in his neuralnet pad. Once he reads the note he grabs a pen and heads directly to the bulletin board, he leaves a note there ...

Dean turns back and goes again to the bar whistling, pretending like nothing have happened, he takes a clean glass and proceeds to clean it again.

Slowly standing up, under while gulping his drink down, Stirling looks at the odd note, written on... paper. Now here's something you don't see everyday.

Without so much looking at the note he tears it off the wall and proceeds to the bartender who just hung it up.

"You see Stirling, visiting these sadder places then you're accustomed too might make it worth your while." He whispers to himself.

He places his entire right hand flat on the bar and aims for a bottle with the remaining free arm.

"One glass of that."

He waits for the bartender to fill his drink and removes his right hand from the paper, sliding it forwards to the bartender.

"What's up?"

The bartender grabs the bottle and fills another glass for himself, after a good gulp he says:

- Well, this is basically a job, a hard one...

He takes a stool and sits in it. once he has accommodated he continues to explain the job:

- I have a regular customer that one day asked me to leave some notes at the bar. Most of the times were small jobs... deliver this here, check that there... but when Gallia started to siege Leeds the notes were every time more serious. Bet you will have to wait for him or leave him a note if you want more information. In any case beware that this in not a game.

Then he makes a whistling and a waiter appears from the billiards room. Dean gives the note to him.

- Care to leave again this note to the board son?

*Clunk...Clunk...Clunk*

Several patrons of the Pool Club cast a shifty glance towards the door as a stocky balding man limped over the threshold, an ornate false leg landing heavily upon the bar room floor. Raleigh Lancaster stood for a moment to survey the club.

It was surprisingly well furnished for a junker bar, reminding him a lot of Scott's, the pool club he frequented as a young man. A fellow was trying to engage the barkeep in conversation over what looked to be a scrap of paper, he could only assume it'd been taken from the note strewn board opposite.
Passing over it for the time being Raleigh scanned the tables doing his best to avoid meeting any of the eyes glaring at him. He absent mindedly tapped his hand with the large roll of paper he'd just purchased, a set of blueprints in fact. What he wanted now was a nice bright table to study them on and a strong cup of tea. Luckily a free table in the far corner fit the bill nicely.

Raleigh limped over and set about pinning the document in place.

He tells the bartender.

"As long as it is profitable, I'm game."

Lighting a original Crete cigar he looks at the bartender.

"Point me in the right direction of the mission and I'll walk away, having never seen you, talked to you or heck, even know you."

*A slim and blond girl walks into the bar in her grey uniform. She drops a cigarette on the floor and ask for a beer with her eyes*

Hey boys, its nice to meet with you. I was in the Taus for a while so I need something to drink. Mind if I sit here? *she points on the free chair at the table*

Oh before I forget. *she raises her hand at ask for the young kid at the entrance. He runs to Lucrezia* Take this note to the headquarter please. The "Boss" need to read it! Oh and take this too. *she smiles and gives some credits for the boy*

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: As far as I know, that is somewhere near Bretonia, or am I mistaken?

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Yep, it's situated just outside

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: I'm at Tau-23 at the moment. Doing my daily duty. *lights a cigar*

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Roger, I'll send you some coordinates

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: You exit from Tau-23 to Tau-29, head towards Baffin via the jump hole, head into Coronado via the jump hole in baffin

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Then you head to Cortez via the jump hole in Coronado, then finally head towards the Inverness jump hole

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: The Zoners don't mind, as long as you stick to the highway

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: Oh, its good to know. I wont avoid to enter it then in the future. I've seen the jump hole once.

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: Btw, about Invergordon...that is your homeland darlin'?

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: I guess you could call it a base of operations, yes

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: Sounds interesting. As far as I know, our leaders are looking for a new place to establish a base too...

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: We've taken up refugee in a proportion of the station, I'm sure the Congress wouldn't mind the Orbitals doing the same

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: I think there must be something in Invergordon...I've heard that name before at the bar...

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Anything specific?

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: Well, I just met with my brother to give him back a loan and started my daily duty. Maybe he knows more than me.

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Might be worthwhile pursuing that

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: About those refugees in Invergordon. Are they from planet Leeds?

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Perhaps, I don't really check myself though

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: No *shakes head* I'm just looking for somebody who left on planet Leeds...

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: Alright. I need to resupply my ship at the Freeport and check the route what you've sent for me.

JM|-Perfectionist-[X]: Roger

[*O]-Lucrezia.Borgia: I'll be online later Sweetheart but I need to leave my ship now.

The Falchion Lands at the dock.

Moments later, a man arrives through the doors of New Leeds Pool club. His black, zipped up, coat brushes his calfs, dressed in black trousers that were tucked into a pair of black army boots of unknown origin. He lets down the black hood covering his head, revealing a short, silver haircut atop his head. Although he had silver hair, this man didn't look any older than someone in their late twenties or early thirties. He pulled down a pair of glowing yellow goggles from his eyes and let them hang by his neck. With his blue eyes and distinguishable handsome features, he gazed around the room and observed the patrons. He noticed a woman sitting at the bar ordering a drink. Looking for conversation, he decided he'd go and approach her. He began walking.
