Faction Idea

Hello children. I have had this idea for a while now and think it could 'spice' discovery up. Now, my idea is to have a role play faction that will have effects outside of RP... let me explain.

My faction proposal is called 'These Things Of Ours' (will be explained) or simply just 'Black Delta'. Now, the idea is that players who are part of this faction will have the intention to make Omicron Delta a claimable system which the faction can claim as theirs. Now, although it is unlikely this will actually happen, i think having a faction that strives for this goal could bring a bit of fun to the game. I would suppose Black Delta (or some other system name) are a terrorist group fighting for their right to claim delta. As i said, Igiss probably wont let Delta be claimed but the fact a faction is attacking other factions ships in terroist systle in order to send a message that they want to be able to claim Delta could liven up the game. Like i said, they would be a terrorist faction like Phantoms except this faction has a political motive where as phantoms are just being controlled by aliens ( :P ).

So, the mission of the faction is RP, but the actions of the faction are done in the what can be classed as real life. I hope it to be some sort of splinter group of the TC where the former members of TC can reunite to fight for omicron delta. There will be no actual leader of the faction and the 'leadership' can only inspire its troops, not actually give proper orders. Hopefully this will stop any arguements about who is in charge and arguements about the running of the faction which brought TC down. I havent finalised any sort of leadership ideas yet though...

Now, its unlikely i will be able to get on freelancer for at least another week due to it being messed up but if there is any interest in this faction, i will probably try to take it to the next level.

Please ask for a better explanation if theres something you dont understand.

And he hates C'tan and thats why AW is hostile to phantoms and why we attack on sight, and sometimes hunt them.

Say, i just think it could bring a bit of much needed excitment. I would be happy to join forces with old TC comrades. I enjoyed my time in the TC but differnces near the end of its existance soured some friendships. Of course newbies are welcome. The big question whether i can get FL to work properly again....
