Proposal: New "Phantom" Shipline

Unfortunately, the ships that were already designed to service the Daam K'vosh were too advanced for the limited capabilities of humans.

I know that these quotes come from an example proposal only, and I know that these proposals are a 'rush job' or whatever, but really now?

This is the civilian line with a black paint job. That is pretty much the least congruous thing possible with relation to "ancient Daam K'Vosh technology".

as far as I know - the policy is not to intergrate any imports, but then - the phantoms are already present and theres already a strong contempt to stop it, wouldn't you agree that you guys "over-calculated" everything? Don't get me wrong, for the sake of balance, do what you have to do - but don't cloak it with policies that have nothing to do with it.

in my opinion should the phantoms "keep" (granted new custom modells would be nice) a Outlandish designe, so i am not so keen to see "just" a reskin.

But i am shure it could be used to add to the used line as a conection to the normaly in sirius used ships.
Btw why not make it look like a living armor aka.: Black skin with green organic(like cells) lines . Something like this just more black in between

I'll +1 that it looks nice it is unique and it seems to have been submitted anonymously so I personally see no issue in using it if the models can be gotten ahold of.

They have a BW Look and also if you squint your eyes just right there is civvy in there too. They are also just unique.

Edit: The Heavy Fighter proposed in that post maybe make it one of the new Hybrids? Just a thought.

To make them look more "spoopy", you could add litle antennae like the ones on the old Order cruiser, then turn the textures into the borderworlds shipline one, make it darker, and add accents. Just my $0.02
