Given the right time, you're a nice person. However that seems to be overshadowed with hypocrisy at times.
If you feel stressed, perhaps it may be wise to take a break. JM is only trying to provide a different side of Junker RP to the Discovery Mod. We do not mean to upset anyone, we just simply want to RP this faction, provide quasi-lawful RP, generate fun for people and hopefully gain officialdom.
If you can't handle the fire, get out of the frying pan. It's not like JM was completely happy about being extremely ganked prior to the 'weird turn' either. However, we decided not to think much of it for too long and just carried on fulfilling our role. That was until people began to complain we were battlephobic, we then began to change our stance on fighting.
I did tell you that it may be wise to not go looking to pick fights with JM all the time if you believe we may defeat you. We have no problem with people deciding to opt out of fighting. Though, you do seem intent on pew, evidenced by when you complained about us deciding to go pirate in Kusari rather than staying in Tau-23 for us to be your punching bag.

See, I am easily able to handle the irp part of it. If it was an irp conflict, which it is not.
I find it hard to convince myself why the oorp messy part should still be worth doing.
This has gone fast from an irp conflict to "let's beat up Jack, like... for real". There is nothing irp any more about what has been happening. It has become a "let's see, what else we can do to win by any means possible". You can now say, that this is valid. Your choice of means however makes it invalid in my view.

No one is. I doubt IMG| really did JM| hard. And I remember talking to Lythrilux about how he could improve pvp skill in his faction because it was depressing to lose for his newer members. This talk would not have been constructive if he had felt that IMG was abusing his people badly. If we did, I apologize.

I don't know whether it is so hard to understand my point of view. I'll try to explain it. It is part of the game to pick fights. I try every single time to bring ships for the opposing side when I see an organised raid. I am one of the people who normally tell the people who go "let's not log, we will be ganked to hell": "Come on. It is a space shooter. Shoot things in space."
So, basically I could say now: After having been ganked hard over the last weeks by a wild alliance of people who likely log so much because they hate me personally, I will not log any more for fights and log off when I see enemies on scanner. Is it that? Is that the way to play Disco?
In my opinion, fights should not be something you need to protect yourself against because you fear the oorp consequences. Yes, it's oorp consequences when you get ridiculed and laughed at, or when you win, you are hated and despised for what you did. That's not how it should be. But enter a TS channel afterwards, and you will see it is oorp.
This oorpness, the oorp bitterness that has come into the conflict that started as an irp one, actually a pretty funny one, I blame largely on a few very visible, loud and present JM| members and their ruthless style of treating people. IMG may not have been innocent, most of the time no one is, but you cannot deny the conscious escalation.

But you see, that Tau 23 fighting could be fun, do you? That fights could be more than "we must win!", "we must never give a blue message". That they should be better, and more fun. Also for the one that loses it. That's where it fails. That's where - in my view - JM|'s choice of tools/strategies has to be blamed.
I guess after the bulk of hate that I received here, I will really drop out of this. This is hurting me on a personal level, and I am actually not playing a game to feel like I feel after reading through the replies to what is criticism, but definitely not invented points of criticism.
As I have said, I do not mean to incite hate or anything like that. We're not out to "crush Jack_Henderson" or anything silly. As I have said, it's just us responding to an RP situation with RP.
We're not making the ships we have with the intent of trolling. Obviously, I'm joking when I make those statements. It's simply us applying strategy in a difficult situation.
I'm sorry if some external feedback from non-JMs has hurt you a bit, unfortunately I have no control over what these people say and it's more or less an admin/mod decision if they feel what's being typed is malicious.
If you want to work with me to make more decent encounters, I am completely open to doing that.
My closing comments will be: If you have every right to attack us, we have every right to defend us. If you have every right to have allies, we have every right to have allies. If you have every right to put up a strong offense, we have every right to put up a strong defense.
Now, I can say here something for the IMG from someone else than Jack.
Jack is a great guy. He is on teamspeak, actualy saying to people "Do not log that GB, it would be overkill and ganking!" He is the one that wants Disco to be fun... He is saying: "Come on, so we will die, it is just a game..."
But he cannot do everything. Sometimes, it is not a fair fight by the nubers. But really, everyone who fights in the Taus knows that when there is a large battle, IMG will loose, probably. That is just for that.
For JM|, I have been to some of the fights. They have been awfull. Ganking, hate...
For some JM|, it is not so bad... for example today. I have caught the JM| recruit, I do not remeber the name... we were talking for a bit, then engaged. That was nice, kudos, if it would stay at that. However, it did not. Everyone ganked on us. Not JM|, although there were some... everyone did. Give me some damn good reason why you hate IMG| so damn much.
The thing is, if we try to do a fair fight, we do not get it. So we do not try anymore a lot of times... That is it.

Most of JM's members don't actively use TS. The TS Alliance, so to speak, consists of people who hop on without any prior notice for us. We cannot control these people;do not think that they are our puppets of primarily ooRP alliances.
It really scares me to what degree Jack is becoming... me.
But he's zoggen' right! Happened to java folk before and is happening again, This or that seasonal dakka bunch that elects to go after another bunch that is more or less stuck to a particular region, doing a particular and usually easy-to-attack activity. how about people just leave the taus bloody well alone for a change? And realize, that "more interaction" doesn't always translate to "richer gameplay" *spit*

Hypocrisy, you have it, too. You can always stand down, tell someone to stand down, or otherwise try not to make it ridiculously unfair. That's what everybody expects from me and what I actually do (or at least try) pretty often.
