Today we have finally been given the means to communicate to the people here! Thanks to the one who called himself "Sting Ray". He gave us a computer program that could translate our language! It's amazing! Such technology, I had no idea it existed..
My name is Bak Samesh. My crew and I are traders on board the transport identified ass Jaa Ootmian, which in our tongue, is The Outlander. We come from the Yutes Sector... It's incredibly far from here, but our first contact with the inhabitants of the system identified as "Delta", has been helpful.
My people and I come from one side of a bloody war, ripping our sector apart... A pirate warlord has organized a military, and is waging war against what our people call the Federation of Free Systems. They had chartered us to move relief supplies to soldiers trapped deep within Pirate territory. We completed our mission, but on our way back, a pirate cruiser opened fire on us as we jumped. Our jump drive was hit, and we were sent off course... We ended up here, with our drive damaged beyond repair, and our long range communicator severely damaged.
We have spent the last two days trying to relay a message to the nearest Federation system, but have so far been unsuccessful.. My people and I have taken up residence on the "Free-port" in Delta. We are lost, alone, and we only want to go home..
