Biography:
I'm from planet Denver, Colorado. As you may know, many of the folks there fell into hard times when the silver fields started drying up. I came from a family that was part of that silver industry, and we got by with a small farm once the workshops started closing.

I studied ship engines, hoping to score a role with Ageria, designing the sector's next fancy new speedy connector. Maybe my grades were too bad or maybe I didn't know the right people, but I didn't make the cut with Ageria and managed to get on board with Deep Space Engineering instead. At DSE I was repairing the large construction ships. I got into mining while at DSE when they found a silver field and were short on miners. I was able to get aboard one of their mining transports as a repairman for a couple missions.

One fateful mission we ran into pirates and couldn't afford to pay their tribute, so we were boarded. We lost a few people including my supervisor's son, which made the bossman angry and got me fired. I used what little money I had managed to save to buy and repair an old freighter and try at running a little ore myself, figuring I could be smart enough not to let myself get boarded and murdered by pirates like the DSE crew had done. While I was out there, I ran into an IMG caravan that invited me along for their trip and I was hooked.



Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals:
The guild aims to treat it's workers fair, to really give them what they are worth. We go out into the deepest parts of space where the larger corporations dare not go, then we all share in that success together. It sounds lovely, assuming everyone pulls their weight.

What can you contribute while inside the Guild ?
I know a thing or two about making stuff work without a full kit of tools and equipment to use. I've also been on a couple helium runs. I'm not the most gifted war pilot though. I'd really like to go on that Niobium run with you folks, it unloads on my home planet and I've been out in deep space long enough to be useful

Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ? (you can select only one department)
I'd like to make a living out in space without being at the mercy of a boss's whims. I find the idea of a mining company in remote space that treats it's people right to be very tempting. I would probably be most useful in your exploration&research division.

I was born on planet Denver I was raised by my father who is a manager of Ageira Technologies, my mother Daniela Knox dye when i had 1 years because of an unknown disease.
For 4 years i have worked for Ageira Technologies but in a day when i was need to go in Newcastle my uncle Tod Brett who was chef of escorts in Lancaster Trade Center was killed and my captured by outcasts. Born on planet Houston and accepted into IMG at the age of 21, but after working with the guild for a while and making ridiculous amounts of money (well at least enough to live without worry for the rest of his live) he decided to stop the dangerous job of mining in Outcast invested space and spend his money on planet Curacao. Well........the money ran out (living there is quite more expensive than anywhere else) and John would like to make money again the way he knows.

Biography:

Venturer grew up in the Freeports, protected by his older Brother, Flinx.
Oh well ... older Brother.

Both are Orphans of many Places and many Bases, washed to and fro with the ides of commerce and strife.
But while the *older Brother* Flinx chose to roam freely, affiliating himself with the Zoners only loosely , Venturer soon started sniffing about for... more.
More of everything.

Scouting, sniffing, haggling and trading. Catching up wealth or at least a good story from the wide nothings and somethings of space has turned to a habit. Then to an obsession... and then to a way of life.

In young years Venturer earned his space boots onboard a number of mining ships, first as Deckman and later on as Tech. And while he stayed in each ship long enough to earn a name as resourceful and reliable Crewman, he always seemed to start looking for the next Freeport, the next Voyage to the next sector, the next Lane.

Then the first own ship.... quickly using it to scrape wealth from the clouds, swiching to his first Arrastra.
And starting to see himself as a free Miner.

And soon the first Miner out of a Bretonian Company snarled at him, calling him a Space Rat...

Rats live in Packs, multiplying where others do not care to roam.
So be it. Free Space and full cargo, for all of us !

Oh, that´s a little bit difficult. As I probably will fly the Arrastra again, seeing that the Kestrel, my ship at the moment, is not quite the IMG Roundabout .... probably Mining. Or Paramilitary ? Lets see.

Biography: I was born on Planet Cambridge in a wealthy family, until one day I was called for military service in her Majesty's conscript fleet. After my two years of regular service I decided to leave the navy, but from one mess I went to another. Glasgow was offering reasonable wages, but at the cost of heavy and long working days. After a few years on Glasgow I was employed in the Border Worlds Exports for a short amount of time. But due to the war, the money I was making weren't enough to even keep my ship at six. Therefore I left the Bowex and searched for another job that might be profitable enough to make a living and have something to set aside. An IMG miner in Dublin had offered me to join the Guild itself sometime back, but I never considered it until now. As a side note I would like to say that I keep by relations strictly in favor of business and prosperity. That would mean that any takings Bretonia or Liberty has with Gallia would not affect by behavior toward the house of Gallia and will not lead to any risky situations.

Outline the Independent Miners Guild goals: Mining operations in the part of Sirius no one dares to mine and extract. Keep a neutral position in the sirian wars. Profit comes over personal feelings. At least that is how I understand it.

Didn't even have a forum acc back then. And the second time my Jorm for sieging a base out of my ZoI. I haven't broken any rules recently and I hope I wont have to.

Biography: I was born in 783 A.S. on Planet New Berlin. My mother died during birth. At the age of 3 my father moved from Rheinland to Taus so as to join the IMG. I was raised on Java and getting my training to one day become a miner myself. I used to pilot a Hegemon miner ship called The Clockmaker, but I hated that job. It was boring and unsatisfying Once, during mining in Tau-23 my ship was attacked by a gang of Outcasts, but we were saved by an IMG security fighter, who blew up three Maltese fighters all by himself. He convinced me to join IMG security forces and trained me in fighter combat.

For a while I've been working on a contract, escorting IMG miners and transports throughout Sirius, and during one of these escorts Ms Julia Morrow to join the primary IMG|.

Jorgen was born on the deck of the Luxury Liner Elisium, in the glowing gas fields of Taus at <data lost> ac. Due to the inborn genetic disorder - not found at the right time and uncured, he had a lack of growth hormone, which made him a lot shorter than his two brothers - Adam and German. Basically, Jorgen was born a dwarf.

After a middle school he went working at the docks, where he got his second name - the Plasmavore, or plasma eater. He was named so after a horrific incident when main engines of Golem class ALG Heavy Mover suddenly went online in the dock. That day 25 workers died in the MOX induced fires. Only one of the service crew survived - this was Jorgen himself. When the hell unleashed, he jumped into the empty coolant barrel which was too small for average human to hide in and closed it before the fires got in. When the fire was put out and radiation cleansed, he left the barrel, scaring the wits out of the rescue crew and said that he is hungry. So he was deemed Plasmavore.

He spent compensation on buying his own ship - small mining shuttle and went into space in search of fortune. After getting some money on mining helium in the fields of Pensylvania, he bought himself a rusty wreck which once was a Hegemon heavy mining ship and flew to Tau-23 to mine Niobium - the most profitable metal on whole Sirius.
After some time it was clear that freelance miner cannot get the profit out of the hard to reach field - and soon will subdue to the pirates. Then Jorgen decided to join IMG. His growing anger on pirates attacks forced him to choose battle-oriented wing
of this organization. All his blood-earned money he decided to spend on a battleship, to serve this organization with truth and honour.
