I guess I'm the only one... but I'm having no luck loading the update. I've even tried the manual method, but the installation just stalls out. Has anyone had this issue... and -if so- how did you resolve it?

I too would like to see the Venator restored. I understand you guys don't use it here on the main server. But some of the other servers do (or did) use it. It was a special ship for clans or maybe donators.

About Venator: It doesn't matter that GC Does not use it means that it have to be deleted. A few servers use Venators for Clans.So it must be returned.

I'm sure someone of your caliber can handle losing a few ships that don't fit the mod.

It doesn't fit the mod on an RP server. So we paint all with the same brush? A lot of people love the Discovery mod, but don't care for the constant requirement for RP. There's room for both; RP and Non-RP.

Everyone has their favorite import. Doesn't mean everyone can win. I'm sure there's an equal following that loved the Firefly, but that sure didn't save it. (nothing against Swallow's replacement, which I like also, btw).

The firefly was a real neat freighter, Its replacement looks like a gunboat and is armed like a gunboat.
How do you RP that beast as a friendly inoffensive freighter.

I am as well, but the new replacement does look great, and it does have a bit more teeth. The firefly was kind of too easy to kill, even if it was fully armed. Seems fair to give throw the traders a bone. I tried using one the last 2 weeks to pirate in. I like it but its still quite large and sluggish, I don't see it out manoevering a GB anytime soon, but it can defend against one a bit better now. As far as going up against other transports, it probably does have a decent advantage now with 6 forward firing turrets and a power output that makes it feasible to fight with it.
