Can we turn it's front turret into a normal gun and set the ships equipment slots so that it can mount 4 class 9 guns and 2 class 8 guns like any other VHF? The front turret is a bit silly and really hampers the effectiveness of the ship.

Depends who uses it and what for. JM and Congress both feel that having the turret instead of a gun is not needed and a gun would be preferred.

Well, I'd prefer if all fighter turret slots were changed on those ships which can be shot forward, and removed from those who can only shoot at odd angles or only backwards.

Use the turret for a 3-deb loadout.

Advanced deb turrets have light fighter deb stats with an efficiency of about 7. Combined with the large core that's pretty neat.

I agree with your there. Turrets that could have a gun in their place and dysfunctional turrets that only shoot backwards is silly.

Doesn't the ship also serve as a scrap mining ship for the Junkers, hence the turret ? Or is that more a role for the Recycler?

Maybe if its primary role was combat, I would see the need for a change.

Who uses it for scrap mining over the far superior vessels (Junker GB, Salvager, even the Recycler) anyway? I've only ever seen it in the use of Junker indies and factions for combat.

I agree, the front turret is kinda useless. Would be better to be able to have more class 9 hardpoints. It's pretty useless for scrap mining, so I don't think anyone will miss the turret.

PS - Snake, you're listing the Eagle twice in your list.

The front turrets and called turrets, But I don't see there arcs much like turrets, so it's pointless keeping them as they are, I agree with Void and Lyth.
