He gave a look around the room, but detected nothing. No degree of enhancements or implants would grant him any insight into the strange and alien chamber beyond that which the visible spectrum would reveal. Even the space around him was silent with secrecy; he could not identify any sorts of transmission running to and from the machines which he presumed must surround him in the mysterious tunnel system.
Left with few options, he walked over to the table and sat. At least the weapon emplacements seemed disinterested in his presence; that was a plus.
