As far as I know, the only vanilla Gateway base is Kensington in New London.

As for character ships, I would be Iron Cossack flying for the escort division of IMG (appropriate ship to be determined later).

also i was thinking of possibly using the Firefly as a miner since it is small and has a sort of rugged look to it, it is sold on Leeds and has a cargo of 3500 and costs roughly 50mil

BU is a very good idea for Friendly, they fight for the same stuff we ran away from.

I love the Idea about a mining rush, I can bring Mink out there to help mine.

Tau44 and the CR

The infocards call the IMG a ship building faction - we all know this - but the vanilla game did not have a shipyard for the IMG. There is one at last in Tau 44 - but that system is the domain of the CR
Templar said in an earlier post that the new IMG faction would very welcomed 'guests' in Tau 44.

This is very generous and we should be respectful of the CR and not loiter there - visit - ok.

The war with the UoG

We don't want to get too deeply involved. We defend ourselves if attacked and we should 'supply' the CR.


Securuty services from the CR

I have had great fun being escorted by the CR. I have also insisted on daonating to them for the service.
We might even want to formalize our security agreement with them and pay a blanket monthly escort donation to the CR or at least a policy that individual player donate on a scale. THIS is of course after we a flush with money and right now the more time I spend typing here - the longer it will take me to raise my share of the startup costs!

I have a spare 35 million right now and will have more soon - I spent my excess funds on my Albatross 1 day before this idea started - so I am broke online!



Contest:

I have an idea for a contest to help us fund raise. Elligible parties are IMG players and any allied/friendly player. I will type up the idea and send it around via PM to flesh it out.


IMG maunal

I want to develop a Guild Guide manual that helps faction members be better at being an member of our guild with info on ships/loadouts, RP appropriate trade routes, IMG philosopy etc... It will contain spoliers so it shouldn't be public domain - just destributed to members.

the best trade route i have found that doesnt go into Sigma 13 and without the BMM bases in Leeds is the Cambridge > New Berlin > Cambridge route which i shall start doing as it brings almost the same and actually puts my trader into his own RP since he is meant to be trader for Rheinland

that route for 4000 of each would bring in about 4.2mil for every dock times that by 5 and you would earn about 50mil for just 5 runs, 15 runs should bring about 150mil hopefully

also i am trying to work out on the weapons list but at the moment i only know we can have IMG and civilian weapons, not sure what our policy about codenames is though (although IMG fighter craft weaponry isnt good on their own own which i found out by experiance)
weapon list- old version though and doesnt include weapons from discovery mod

as a mining guilde, we do come arround in sirius. therefor i would recommand to allow 2 codenames for each fighter.
