When I try to log into any of my characters , my game just crash to desktop, I use avast and already put a exception in it for discovery folder

Remove all saved games if you have any. Check and make sure your anti-virus didn't remove DSAce.

possibly tell avast to ignore the disco folder BEFORE you install fl and disco, otherwise itll kill the dsace files

mmm try checking if avast has done an update and re-enabled all folder checking

http://gyazo.com/5aa68e4ad5933d154df062a67fc7a5ad same issue, (the loop starts right after it crashes). My game works when it wants to and i would like to be in control. (Of at least something ) I can leave my computer alone for an hours or so and everthing will work. FL will launch just not the Disco launcher

I am having the exact same issue. It started about a week ago, out of nowhere... can't remember any updates in windows or antivirus before that, so I am pretty sure there was none since I always have updates on manual, never automatic.

When I start the PC and log for the first time it works fine. If I close FL - to change accounts for an instance - when I open it again I get CtD'ed right when I select a character to log.

It only works again if I restart the PC. And only for that very first time.

I already reinstalled freelancer and disco, erasing all old files (completely fresh install), the issue remains.
