[color=#FFCC33]We are the Union of Gold. In 752 AS, on Founders day, we over threw our Bretonian oppressors. Dublin and Londonerry are now firmly under our control. Our fleet is more advanced than ever, and we begin to spread our influence throughout the universe. The lessons we learned fighting our war of independence carry us through to a new generation of pilots. Our past is written in Blood, and our future will be written in glory.

Recently, a war with the Colonial Remnant has begun, bringing Outcasts, Lane Hackers, Corsairs, and now, even the Bretonians and all their allies to Dublin to join in the fight. This has caused the Bretonians to grant us independance. Now, our government is being set up, independence in Dublin has been reached! We shall take our vengeance on the Corsairs for what they did to Planet Cork in Londonderry. The thousands who were lost on Cork shall not be left unavenged. Our men, resources, and gold, have not been wasted in vain!

Dublin is becoming a center of trade, our economy is booming as Molly gold finds markets throughout the universe. Fighters and capitol ships churn from the production lines at the newly constructed Foyle shipyard. A great new horizon, a golden horizon, rises over Colerain base, our headquarters. The call to arms reaches far and wide...will you answer it?

To be a Union of Gold pilot you must be smart, tough and loyal to the death. The rewards of becoming our brother or sister will never cease to grow. We will lay down our lives for you, but you must do the same for us.

Be warned though. We do not accept the weak. You will earn every promotion, every ship upgrade, every stripe on your shoulder. You will become hardened in battle, and your name will become known to the masses. You will earn it all in blood and fire, or you will die in the attempt.

James walked into the cramped office space and sat down behind the desk, his huge bulk and muscular build almost knocking it over. He leaned back and stared at the door, dareing someone to come in. James Whipperwill was formidable man and just from seeing him you didnt want to get on his bad side, in fact some didnt want to come near him. But, nonetheless he guarded a rather large stack of recruitment papers that had yet to be filled out. He waited patiently for some new meat to walk through the door, he was getting bored of just sitting around and had only the thought of making someone squirm in the seat across the desk from him, although Kenny had given him strict orders to try and be nice. He was there to gain recruits after all, not scare them away.

//keep this in RP, I will not grade you too hard though as we rally need new recruits. But this dosent mean you wont have to put a little thought into your application.

Idle recruitment officers stood around in Arranmore. Doug Crane walked up to James who immediatley stood up and saluted.

"At ease Sarg." The humongous man sat back down and twirled the pencil on the table. Doug thought to himself, "How can we keep fighting this war without more men?"

Remember, the Union is actively recruiting to support its war with the Colonials and Corsairs in Dublin. Now is the time to finish the fight and gain independence. Oh, and did I forget all the gold will be ours?

Joe North steps into the office of the Union of Gold Recruitment Center on Colerain base with a mission. He's just begun with his greatest adventure in his life by buying a light fighter and is now searching for a good couse to fight for. He has read the recruitment request of The Union of Gold and see his oppertunitie to fight for a good couse and help people to rewin there freedom. So he starts filling out his request form.

XT-14 enters the office with an urge to join the Union of Gold. He knows that the Mollys were formed after the Founder's Day Revolt. And that they just wanted to tell the Bretonian government how bad they were being treated. The government didn't care. They weren't worth anything in their eyes. They knew that Bretonia wasn't their home, and if they ever wanted a home, they would have to carve it from Bretonian space.
"I am willing to help Dublin gain independence from Bretonia."

EST, about 4 hours each weekend day, one hour each weekday

Decent. I don't use smileys or "lol" or "rofl" or any kind of that stuff. If someone uses it, I usually correct them in RP.

5) Prefered ship class / combat experience
Very Heavy Fighter with a lot of armor. Not too bulky though. Haven't really PvPed much, always use engine kill and jousting.

Harvey Farthings walked into Arranmore Base, a bit shaken from the ride into the station through the minefield. A Molly by birth, Harvey had ran away from Arranmore when he was first able to fly a Bloodhound. He was ashamed, ashamed that he was not strong enough to stand up for his birthright of Dublin, afraid that his brothers had would hunt him for his betrayal, afraid even now that this moment would be his end. But he had had enough of being afraid, enough of being ashamed of his actions, it was time for Harvey to repent for his deeds. He would rejoin his brothers in Dublin, he would regain his standing in Dublin, he would fight for gold, for freedom!

Harvey moved farther into Arranmore, looking for the recruitment desk. He found it, and looked at the forms given.

Been here since last November, but only started RP-ing this January.

3:00-9:00 EST (GMT -5) Weekdays

I believe I am pretty competent at RP. Been RPing since January, and want to continue RPing.

5) Prefered ship class / combat experience
I prefer fighters, and will fly either Light Fighters or Heavy Fighters without much difference. Want to learn how to fly bombers better, though. I've fought the NovaPG, GC, and Kieretsu quite often, and I think I have a good bit of combat experience. I can also take down a transport in a fighter quite easily now (You can test me on this if you'd like).
