He meant did any admin or dev announced that within the patch-notes that you need a new char each time you've loot the wreck.. to lot it again, so he can look them up.

What i noticed that i was first after restart with my character and got the code. Next time that there was a restart i went back to get the same code and I could not. I could shoot the wreak but nothing dropped. and I KNOW i was first.

so yes. make a new char each time.

I have been looting wrecks for ages with the same Characters.

The way to do it is to be hostile to some of the indigenous NPCs.

Sit next to the wreck and when the NPCs shoot at you some of the shots hit the wreck and the wrecks then drop the cargo. Tractor in and off you go.

Hence no need to use a different Character each time.
