It was supposed to mimic projecting a hologram, but in order to get the text where they wanted it, I had to break it up into two images in order to float both of them to get the text where it needs to be. If I spent more time on it, I could make it better, but they liked it as it is above.

You could add some blank transparent space to the left photo to line it up properly.
Also as far as I'm concerned, shouldn't holograms be projected from the bottom?

Of which photo? The char pic, or the top bar?

Also, where is the rule that says a hologram must be projected from the bottom? Do you know what a hologram is? It's a 3 dimensional image projected/emitted from lasers/light. There is no rule that says it must be from the bottom. Think R2D2 from Star Wars: A New Hope. When he projects Princess Leia, it's not from the bottom. And that is considered a hologram.

agree Hologram projecter can be placed anywhere no rule for placing it

Have it a 'lil closer and yeah I think that'd work pretty well. Perhaps a different overlay on the image itself as well to make it look a bit more...virtual.

Oh. I honestly thought that the hologram projector thing was one of those Plasma Cutters for cutting metal :/
