How pleasant to hear from our acquaintances from Sirius' south. I am Maurice Cornett, a Commandant of the Gallic Royal Navy.
My superiors have shown interest in your proposal, and are - as you suggested - willing to discuss the details out in the field. So I shall keep this brief - after all, we will have sufficient time to converse at the meeting itself.
We suggest for the meeting to take place in the Baffin system, which I am sure you're familiar with. It is inhabited only by a minor religious cult that is highly unlikely to be capable of disrupting our meeting. The system is centrally located and, presumably, easily reached by both the Navy and the Buro's representatives.
