I have at last dug my way through the above heap of correspondence in which you demand that the TAZ give the Order control of the Persephone and start medical experiments on our members, all on the pretext that the ship and our Robes are seemingly infected by Nomads.

Yes, that seems to be the nub of it, but there is not a shred of evidence – If I’m wrong, let me know forthwith and provide proof.

Clearly then, there is another game being played here by the Order outside of anything to do with Nomads, which saddens me when I think of our past good relations and I'm disappointed to find that you have been unable to share your true agenda. Should this situation change please contact me directly to discuss, my lines are open.

In the meantime, none of your above conditions will be met, we're not impressed by bullies and truth twisters, lengths to which the Order are now seemingly prepared to stoop to achieve their aims. So, as a precaution, Baffin is herewith off limits to Order ships in order to guard against escalation of tensions.

Hopefully, you will understand this precaution.

When offering help I had a little bit different things in mind. While conducting the inspection can be done in our Sirian stronghold, I do not intend to endanger all the inhabitants of Roussillon by bringing potential infectees into the system without making sure the concerns of The Order in this regard are without any basis et checking for infestation throughout all TAZ personnel prior to letting them enter our home.

Thankfully to our earlier cooperation with The Order, we have been given some of their scanning devices developed to reveal infestation in infected individuals. Scanning through the whole crew of the Persephone as well as any escorting vessel is mandatory prior to entrance, but I can assure you that the process will be executed with utmost discrecy et the usual hospitality our allies deserve.

Please keep in mind that these procedures are not meant as a move to take sides in the conflict, merely a safety measure to keep our people in Roussillon safe et secure.

I agree to your conditions. We'll submit to your own inspection in space, by the anomaly connecting Baffin with Roussillion. I'm sorry for not being able to authorize this to be done in Pueblo Bonito, Shasta, or even Sedona Station. This is because we ourselves suspect the Order itself may have been infiltrated by infectees. Their suspicious conduct at least points in that direction. Since they'll want to be there when you scan our people, I can only offer to do this in spce. Keep in touch to arrange a date and a time as soon as Order replies to your comm.

Something else: we also want Order to be scanned and inspected by your people. This is not negotiable.
