To : Hanna Richter, DHC Secretary

I am sorry to inform that the task borderlined till 25th May hasn't been fulfilled. The Assignment was to dispatch 50.000 crates of Aluminium Ore and Raw Hydrocarbons each to Southampton and Nuremberg respectively.
But I fear, we have managed to haul 21.000 Aluminium Crates at the Shipyard. These are the deliveries which have a proper record in our Database. Aside that, I am sure, we have managed to deliver more 6.000 crates which are, alas, not present in the records.
About Raw Hydrocarbons, 21.000 containers have arrived at Nuremberg with proper delivery bills and 4.000 more are on way.

So, with a Total estimation, I could say, we have managed to credit as per the below -

Aluminium Ore - 27.000/50.000
Raw Hydrocarbons - 25.000/50.000

Well, failure to complete such assignment was due to the ongoing holidays and short-leaves from most employees. To maintain a healthy environment around the office, we didn't force them to cancel their leave which they were granted before the assignment. Therefore, It mostly remained on the backdrop of Edling's stock and few colleagues who were present in the office. The names have been credited accordingly.
That being said, we are still trying to complete the task with an extended time.

Captain notes:

Greetings Miss Richter.

I hereby confirm your last transmission. The Einheit is heading for her new mission as we speak. The delivery will be made on time, it goes without saying. Seeing the importance of the amount to be delivered, I have requested from my crew an extra effort.

I also would like to add that it is the first time you contacted me directly for a delivery. Usually, I received my orders from the DHC neural net. I therefore assess that it is of the utmost importance.

I’ll get back to you when there will be more.

Yours faithfully.

Convoy participant ships:
  • DHC-Ruhrpott
  • DHC-Mining_Unit_001
  • RS|RSD-Hannover

Route:
  • Munich Aluminium field -> Frankfurt, Mainz Storage Facility.
  • Rishiri, Misaki Station -> Frankfurt, Mainz Storage Facility.

Cargo delivered:

15.000 Aluminium Ore
  • 3805 Aluminium Ore
  • 3805 Aluminium Ore
  • 3805 Aluminium Ore
  • 3585 Aluminium Ore

3.000 Quantum Multiplexors
  • 3000 Quantum Multiplexors

Captain notes:

The screen lights up. Benedikt appears and nods to salute.

This is my first report on the special order 08-13-DCCXX-001. The Aluminium ore and the Quantum Multiplexors are to be clear from the order's specifications.

The next target I have been assigned is the Ship Hull Panels and the Magnets. The routes have been calculated and providers contacted. The situation is nominal.

Concerning what our insurance claim department should know, they can consider themselves as being on holiday for the day. Nothing happened so far to the ship. Yet, they will have to renegociate the premium with the company as the Einheit was escorted by The Hannover from Republican Shipping and therefor was subjected to a less greater exposure. The department knows its job.

Several mining teams were involved. It seems the ones that uses the Arrastra are still the one that are the most efficient in the Munich aluminium fields. I have adapted my database with this new critera.

The screen shutdowns as the captain nods and salutes

  • Kruger|Delta-14

Route:

Omega 7, Silver ore field C2 => Narita, New Tokyo.
Planet Kyushu, Kyushu => Mainz, Frankfurt.

Cargo delivered:

3305 units of Platinum Ore
500 units of Magnets
3805 units of Silver Ore
7768 units of Ship Hull Panels
  • 2470 Ship Hull Panels
  • 1941 Ship Hull Panels
  • 1455 Ship Hull Panels
  • 1902 Ship Hull Panels

Captain notes:

The captain looks at the screen.

As I unloaded the Magnets and the Platinum from the previous delivery to their respective destination, the HR department sent me a recruit captain. His name is Martin Friedmann. He seems to be a very fine captain. The HR did an excellent job. Anyway, all went well during the acquisition of captain Friedmann’s new ship and her registration. Captain Friedmann and I then went to work.

Today’s delivery was Silver Ore to Narita. Kruger ships would take care of the mining and we were to help with the transportation along with their hauling division. We departed from Reutlingen and arrived in Narita without delays or incident worth reporting.

Kruger took their part of the contract very professionally when it came to return to Rheinland with the Ship Hull Panels. We arrived in Mainz on schedule.

This convoy is a complete success. This adds to the already delivered quantities needed for the special order. ( 001 - 002 - 003 - 004 - 005 - 006 )

Captain von Hageland out.

Cargo delivered: 2910 Uncut Diamonds, 2910 Platinum Ore

    Captain notes:
Very few indicdents to report, so smooth sailing.

    Only two things to report:
Captain Andrew Adent of the Adentw2 is a Samura contracted miner, and has been helpful in supplying platinum ore.

A ship is a callsign ID of "Tomato"... whatever those are... was spotted in Hokkaido. He is a Corsair pirate, and should be avoided. The Kusari Police have been made aware of his presence and have been seen to pursue the vessel.

No other notes to be made.

Captain notes:

the captain shows up and seems to gather his thoughts

Things are going efficient. Let’s start with the training program of captain Freidmann. The captain certainly is qualified for the job. He has shown very good skills in piloting, crew managing, logistics and team integration. His training isn’t over yet, but I’m sure it is a matter of weeks before the Zossen is considered as a regular hauling unit.
Along with captain Freidmann and captain Henkel from the Freidrichstein we headed for the seventh system of the Omega’s where Kruger mining division was waiting for us. After the ore loading process, a Kruger pilot noticed that our departure schedule matched the one from their next convoy to New Tokyo. We joined them and reached destination without delays.
The way back started from Nagano with its famous platinum and was of course bound to the capital. The convoy arrived naturally on time. My respects to the Kruger's captains.
Concerning that special order, the ship hull panels are now delivered. I’m on the last commodity needed, the super alloys. I have contacted a Bowex salesman and will meet him in Newcastle very soon. First I need to dock to the Ring for a radar check. It displayed something weird in Nagano. Evidences are sent to the engineers. ( 001 - 002 - 003 - 004 )

von Hageland out.

(playing)

I have left Mainz and I’m now heading to Solarius. The last unit of Super Alloy is now delivered. This completes the initial order from Miss Richter. I will now fully focus on the recruits training. I believe our main operation area will be located in the fields of Omega 11.
On less pleasant news, my radar crew spotted an unusual contact near Solarius last time. It seems IMG have sent us their regards. I lost visual sight of the ship very quickly. Further contact attempts were not successful. Logs: ( 001 – 002 – 003 )
